~ BACKGROUND INFORMATION ~ So the song I chose to make a cover for is Goodbye (can be found in the chapter's main picture area). I found the song in 2015 and it had faded away into the back of my mind with the more songs that I found. This song at first didn't really have that much personal meaning. I was listening to the lyrics but I wasn't truly understanding them. Time went by and my mental state, well, my mental state had some drastic ups and downs and through that time this song stuck with me. A few weeks ago Unlikely_Valentine made a challenge on Amino to write a piece inspired by a song. I tried and tried but nothing came out right. That's when I listened to this again and I managed to write something. The quote I wrote is actually part of the poem that I wrote for the piece. It isn't the most beautiful or soul lifting quote I could have used but it means the world to me because it came from my heart. Thank you so much for holding this contest and thank you for looking over my reason behind the quote.
