"Dad I know. But I couldn't help myself I believe she is my mate. I have this connection with her that I don't have with you know who. She's the one dad."

Adams talking was starting to wake me up, I didn't want him to know that I was awake so I continued to pretend to sleep.

"When are you and mom coming back home dad. In a couple of days. Okay. Yeah, dad. I didn't. wait you mean that can happen. But she's not dead. Just her brother is, she would have already transformed, so there is no way she is. Stop worrying if it's anything, I'll keep an eye out. And I know that if this happens there will be a target. But it won't. I'll call you guys if anything comes up and I'll go check out the thing with Allen to make sure it's not a rogue dad. Bye"

That conversation he had with his parents was weird but who am I to judge and what is my brother involved with. I decided to just let it drop it couldn't be anything really and get up. But when I saw Adam he had a weird look on his face so I asked what's wrong he told me it was nothing gave me a kiss and said that we should get ready to bring me home. All I did was nod my head and got ready to go, and when we left the car ride was quite. Felt weird but I wasn't gonna push what I had, I had hope in us. When we reached my house my brother Allen was sitting on the steps with Jacky talking. That put a smile on my face because I knew how Jacky felt about my brother. But then I hope she's not telling him about the whole Felisha incident, she wouldn't she promised. But they were laughing and smiling at each other, I saw a twinkle in my brother's eyes, that's weird. They both looked up and saw us and smiled.

As I got out of the car Jacky ran and hugged me. My brother gave Adam a nod and Adam whispered something in his ears. Adam and Allen said that they had to run somewhere and would be back in a couple of hours. Jacky and I said okay. Adam came over kissed me on the forehead and headed over to his car waiting on my brother. Who went over to Jacky and gave her a huge kissing her on the cheek, making her blush and whispered something in her ear. Then, he made his way over toward me stopping to give me a hug telling me to tell mom he's with Adam and will be home and hour late at the very least. But then he did something weird he smelled me and the look he normally has in his eyes changed to rage. He turned and looked at Adam in the car with a sneer and asked me if I was using a new perfume. I replied no and asked why would he ask that. Allen replied no reason looking at my neck in the process, releasing a sigh as in relief and left.

"what was that about Allena"

"I don't know let's get inside I'm hungry"

"okay, but you got to tell me what happened between you and Adam, your gonna right"

"yeah, I will but you have to tell me what's up with you and my brother. But seriously can we go inside I am starving"
