Hope's POV
I had gotten into my classroom just before the bell rang the teacher had stared at me while I took my seat, ¨miss hope be careful next time, you won't be so lucky if you're not careful.¨ She completely ignored my bruise. None of the teachers cared about the well being of the students in howler high school, as long as they were getting paid to teach random stuff no one cared, they were content. They especially didn't like me but that was normal. I didn't reply to her I never did, she rolled her eyes and perked up ¨okay class we have a new students today be nice to him..." I tuned her out, unless he's remotely good looking he won't last a day, laying my head down I didn't care for anybody in my class why should a new bully make a difference.
"Hi my name is Reed Sivan." I looked up slightly his deep voice startling me there stood a well built boy with tanned skin and brown hair, his eyes looked like sea green pools. I could just swim in them all day. I looked around the classroom to see the girls sit a little bit straighter trying to show off what they either didn't have or had to much of. I scoffed and looked out the window. " Okay Mr. Sivan I hope you enjoy my classroom. Sadly the only seat available will be next to Ms. Hope. Go take your seat and I'll continue with my lesson.
He looked my way, I could feel his eyes burning a hole through my head, the chair beside me screeched as he pulled it out. I could still feel his eyes on me, as well as all of the other girls in class. I continued to ignore them. "Hi, I'm Reed I just moved here. What's your name?" I gave him no response, "...well, um, I hope we can be friends." I shook my head but still refused to look his way. "You shouldn't bother with her, she never talks to anyone, I mean who would want to talk to her anyway. Anyway my name is Catherine, do you need a guild to your next class." she tried to sound flirtatious, it took everything in me not to laugh her voice was just so nasally. I slowly moved my head and looked towards the two, he was making a sour face, "um no thanks I'm good." she gave a surprised look, " oh come on, you might want to be around me, I mean have you seen me I'm the best girl at this school. She's just a zero, I'm the most popular you might want to change your answer sweet cheeks." she said winking.
"No thank you, but I'll keep that in mind." He turned back towards me the shock on Catherine's face was hilarious. But I kept my laugh in, her eyes moved to me and she became a livid she-demon. I looked at Reed, a soft smile spread across his face and his face lit up as he stared at me of course I was the one to look away, I could've sworn as I did he gave off a soft whimper. Ignoring it I went back to my little window to freedom, the school had a little wooded area next to it and luckily I was facing it. The woods had always been my favorite place, I never could explain why they just soothed me.
Let's just hope this day will end a little smoother than the others, I really can't handle another mishap with the girls here. I've got to worry about what will I cook for THOSE people when I get back to their house.
