Handcuffs and Heartbreak

7 weeks later

Laurence and I have been dating for 6 weeks now. I'm madly in love with him. He told me he'd catch up with me after school but he never did. I pulled my converse on and popped my favorite cat ear headband on. I threw on my plaid jacket and walked down the street. I ran into one of my classmates said "Hi" and headed over to Starbucks. "One vanilla bean please." When I got my drink I walked downtown looking at the shining lights of New York. "Wow it's so beautiful out here. " I muttered.
I saw a skateboard park and without knowing came over. "Hey kid, can I borrow your skateboard?" I said and the kid gave me it. I pulled out the sunglasses that I kept in handy in my front pocket and put them on. "One.. Two.. Three.." I whisper to myself and let go of the breaks. The wind whips through my hair and my heartbeat increases. I swiftly jump and the skateboard a 360 and lands on the next hill I swoop down really fast. While I'm in the air I look outside of the park all of a sudden I see two figures kissing... once I jump again I look at them again and what I see my heart stops and I mediately fall I saw... I saw... Laurence he was kissing another girl... My heart broken into two. I fall under the hard cement ground scraping my knee I'm bleeding really bad but I don't pay attention to it. I chuck the skateboard back at the kid and run into the park where I saw Laurence. And with no doubt it was him... "Laurence!!!" I scream tears streaming from my eyes. He whipped around and his face turned red. "Aly it's not what it looks like I swear." Typical for him to say that. "Oh yeah well then what were you doing with the slut?" The girl lunged at me. "What did you call me?!" I slapped Laurence in the face and kicked him as hard as I could in the nuts. Then I looked at the girl and realized it was Iowa. " you know what you two deserve each other jack ass and his little slut." I ran, how could I let this happen to me. The next day at school I didn't even look at him. Sadie tried to comfort me but it was useless. Why? How? Those were the only questions in my head. If only I could find out what led him to cheating on me.Then over the loud speakers I heard, " Would Aly Boston and Jacob Winters come over to the principals office, Aly Boston and Jacob Winters please, Thank you!" Jacob Winters was my enemy ever since 3rd grade when he shoved me in the mud and let a frog loose in my shirt. I haven't seen him for a while but I went with it. When I got over to the office I saw Jacob sitting and a handcuff on his hand I sat down and the principal locked the other open handcuff on me. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" I screamed. "It's ok, kitty," Jacob growled. " Is that your nickname for me or something?" I sneered "Why of course kitty." The principal looked at us and started to talk. " Our teachers have noticed that you two have a hatred towards each other so we asked your parents to sign a contract allowing us to handcuff you together so you could share some bonding experience. How you do it isn't up to us. You may leave now. I screamed at the teacher for about 10 minutes but then gave in I stood up and immediately felt a tug on my wrist. I moaned. "Heh, mad kitty?" "Shut it Jacob." The principal looked at us again and then said, "Oh, I almost forgot here are your schedules they're the same so you won't have trouble. I snatched the sheet and looked over it. All the classes had his bitchy girlfriend in it Carol. This is gonna be a long day.
