OK so I just thought of a random idea for a book, here it is
A scientist is conducting a dangerous experiment and when it falters the results are rather unfortunate, he has turned into a hamster and lost his verbal abilities.
Realized there is no current cure at that time, he decides to get his time machine and find some way to get back to being a human, except there's only one small problem with this, the time machine can only travel back in time.
The scientist lands in a kids house in a slightly previous time of about 5 years ago, assuming that no teenager or adult would ever believe a hamster he locates this child and politely requests help on his mission to get back to being a human again.
I know there is a lot of plot holes in that description but hey, synopsis's are always quite vague. I'll answer any questions or queries you have with this book idea.
