Mark and Madeleine always walked home together no matter what. Every day they went under the same bridge, down the same long street, past by the houses but there was one way they never went. They never walked near the big and quiet high way nobody there were never any cars or anything. Madeleine was always a daredevil, she always did things that were dangerous. Mark never thought she would do the one thing that no one would do, not even adults would do it. Mark begged and begged for her not to go on the highway. "Stop being a punk. You really believe in those myths" Madeleine didn't care what Mark said and every time she replied with a sassy remark. Mark tried with all his strength to stop Madeleine from going.
