The sun was starting to set, and the whole crew was lunging at the dinner table for food. After 2 years of tragedy and depression, Luffy had now reunited with his crew. Sanji had prepared a special dinner to celebrate the Clown's defeat, the ship now heading to Dressrosa. The alliance with Law was still in place at the time. He has been traveling with the straw hats since meeting on Punk Hazard.

Luffy had finished his own plate, stretching his arms across the table to steal the others food. Nami stood up and stabbed luffy's hand with a fork.

     Everything was normal and as perfect as it could ever be.

Nami and Robin had left the table and were having a conversation on the deck of the sunny. Sanji and Zoro were bickering. "You moss head!!!" the cook shouted in annoyance. They had their eyes locked with bitter enmity.

     Usopp and Franky were in the storage room seeing if they needed to restock yet. Chopper had already gone back to his office and was going through medical techniques with Law. Brook was playing his electric guitar, and Luffy was sitting on the lion head of the thousand Sunny.

LUFFYS P.O.V

I stared at the sky as night fell and stars started littering the firmament. My eyes were starting to blur, and my eyelids were becoming heavy. My conscience slipped away as I nodded off.

Where am I?! What happened!?

Those thoughts would not leave me as I began to wander through the endless black.

"Hello! Is anyone there?!" I was desperately yelling into the echoing dark. Then something moved in the distance, sending a jolt of anxiety through my chest.

      "Who's there?" I halted my walking in an attempt to hear better, squinting to try and make out the figure that stood only meters ahead of me.

My sight adjusted to the dark, finally allowing me to see what was there.

     It was Law.

     Why was Law here? Why didn't he respond when I called out?

    My panic increased as I watched Law take a step forward. He stood only a few steps from me now, his breath fogging in front of his face.

     I felt the pulsing of my heart in my temples as I took a step back, but in return he took two steps forward.

"Strawhat~ya? You don't look so good," His voice sent spiders crawling down my spine. "Though at least you look better than your brothers. You know, they only saved you because you're weak."

     My hands shook at my sides, his smirk sinisterly predominant My words got caught in my throat. I swallowed hard.

     "I am excited to see what you do," he hissed, his tone utterly unfamiliar.

     The expression on his face made a pit of paranoia settle into my stomach.

     That isn't Law. I tried reassuring myself.

     In two swift strides he had moved to stand only inches from me. He grabbed my face, and stretched my cheek. "What's wrong Straw Hat? Are you too afraid to admit that you're weak? That you caused their deaths?" He squeezed harder.

     I swatted his hand away, taking multiple steps back in the process. My eyes were wild with anger and fear and confusion.

"Law!?" I was trying not to give in to his antics. He slowly waved as his grin faded.

     Then he had stepped away, smearing with the black oblivion.

yo! its present author. ive just gone back to fix all of the problems, as i will be doing for the rest of my chapters. this is a few years old now so i kinda have to fix my silly amateur mistakes! though i wont be able to make them longer sadly or that would change the whole story.
