LUFFY'S P.O.V

I woke up in my room. My head throbbing from the past events. My body was trembling. I looked down and saw a puddle of crimson red.

I sat back on my knees. I slowly raised my hand and graced my fingers against my face. There was dry blood on my upper lip and chin. My mouth tasted like copper.

I stood up still swaying a bit as I walked over to the small window to the write of the door. I opened it letting the cold ocean air cool me off.

After cooling off a bit I stepped back and closed the window. I looked back at the room. I have to change and clean that. I thought as I walked over to my dresser. It was messy and I just picked up some jean shorts, right above the knee, and a flower button up.

After getting changed I cleaned the blood with some towels.

I slowly opened the door and stuck my head out. I needed to get the dry blood off my back and face. My hands were a bit dirty, too. No one was in the hall, so I quickly and quietly ran to the bathroom at the other end on the hall. I opened the door and went inside. I closed the door and walked into the center of the room. My hat was laying on my back. Held by the thin string around my neck.

I looked in the mirror in utter horror. I had dark circles under my eyes and blood smeared on my face and chest.

I grabbed the towel and wet it quickly. Wiping off the substance, making it un noticeably obvious.

But the dark circles would be hard to hide. I ran my fingers through my birds nest of hair. I grabbed the comb on the sink and fixed my hair.

My heart was still racing so I tried to sooth it with the love of song. No one has ever really heard me sing except Ace when they snuck up on me in Alabasta. I smiled at the thought.

My voice softened and I let a tear escape. I smiled and thought of all of the memories with my brothers. Then an unknown image popped in my head. It was a woman. She looked like me. With her black hair and big smile.

I burst out in tears of happiness and sadness. " I couldn't save either of them, and now I'm left all alone."

That's right, it's all your fault. You killed them. You killed your only true family. A voice in my head said.

I frantically looked around "Who's there?!"

No one. For I am your demon. I would love to chat. But someone is coming. I suggest cleaning up faster.

With that I heard thundering footsteps. I quickly finished cleaning and turned off the faucet.
