The Halliwell sisters huddled together around a guidebook, a beat up piece of lined paper and a single pen. They sat together in the middle of one of their two beds.

"So, Eric should have reached the records by now. He's been here for just about three and a half days. The question is whether he's returned from his encounter with them." Prue began. "We need to know whether he is or used to be in this motel, and whether he has visited the forest or is still in the forest."

"So we just need to find out if he's still in the motel or if he's in the wilderness. Piper added.

"I could talk to the receptionist, see if she's seen him around." Phoebe added.

"And I'll walk around the rooms, check to see if he's in still on the motel." Prue said.

"I'll check out these books too, write down what we know about the Records." Piper ended.

"Well then, ladies," Prue said, smiling, "Let's get to work."

Phoebe and Prue stood, the two of them leaving the motel room together.

Prue walked down the hall of the motel. She knocked on the first door she came to, Room Number 2. Footsteps came to the door, before Prue heard a click and a soft weathered face looked up at her.

The woman who had answered the door was a smiling, pale-skinned middle-aged woman. Her hair was neatly swept into a bun, her white t-shirt emblazoned with a random logo hung loosely over her thin body. She wore black capris and hiking boots.

Her voice was sweet as honey.

"Yes miss, how may I help you?" The smiling woman asked.

"Have you seen a man with dark hair and blue eyes, about yea high?," Prue held her hand just slightly above her own head. "He's my friend and we've been planning a hiking trip together," Prue lied effortlessly.

"Oh no, I'm sorry." the woman smiled.

"Well if you do, just let me know. I'm in Room 1. Stop by any time!" Prue smiled before extending a hand. "My name's Prue. Nice to meet you."

"Oh what a lovely name!" The woman said. "My name's Anna, dear if I hear anything, I'll let you know. Why don't you come in for a bit?" Anna said, smiling.

"Oh I couldn't," Prue insisted.

Anna smiled, opening her door further.

Prue nearly stepped in. That is, until she heard gunshots from one of the other rooms.

"I'm sorry Anna, I've got to leave. Lovely meeting you though!" Prue quickly said over her shoulder before running from the hotel room. She heard another gunshot.

"Phoebe!" Prue yelled. "It's coming from Room 4!"

Phoebe was just behind her, Piper even further. They ran down the hall.

Prue jiggled the door handle nervously before opening it. The door was unlocked. Inside, they were greeted with a strange sight. A man stood in front of Eric, the green-eyed man who had winked at Phoebe. The man with the voice from the vision. He held a knife in his hand and a gun lay on the floor.

"What are you?" the green-eyed man asked.

"Castiel, Angel of the Lord," Eric answered.

Prue stared, confused. She saw what she thought looked like wings. And suddenly she felt a pair of thin hands around her middle and her throat, and a thin, sharp knife was held at her throat.

"Who are you?" Prue heard a voice from behind. It was, to her surprise, a thin, boyish, voice, that absolutely did not match the knife against her neck.
