Kayla's POV

I made Mitch leave, oh god no.

"I CAN'T BELIEVE MY SON JOINED THE PACK!" Sean said upset.

"But they aren't friends anymore because I think Mitch said that I mattered the most to him than the guys" I said again. Everyone sighed in relief.

"That's good" Marsha said.

"The Pack wasn't that bad actually, sure they might have been they most feared people around, and they were criminals, but they treated me like I was there little sister, even Rob, he was so sweet" I said remembering how they were.

"I'm surprised you like them " Sean said. I bit my lip again.

"I'm going to go talk to Mitchell, stay here and eat Kayla" Marsha said getting up. I nodded.

Mitch's POV

I went to my old room, and sat down on the edge of my bed, thinking. I'm scared.

"Honey" My mum said coming into the room. I looked up, I then turned away. She sat down next to me, rubbing my back.

"Did they treat you well?" She asked me.

"Very" I said. She looked at me shocked.

"I'm surprised" She said then again.

"They made me feel like, I was part of something, and it felt great. They didn't ruin me or anything, I just screwed up mum" I said

"What did you do?" She asked. I sighed and rubbed my face, I turned towards her.

"I made them break up their friendship, and I don't remember all that much" I said. She nodded.

"Well, you know you're father doesn't like em, and neither do I, but we both knew how much you were struggling in school with getting friends, and having fun.. With some bullying added to it so, I'm on board with your little group" She said with her opinion.

"Oh.. really?" I asked. She nodded.

"Thanks Mum" I said kissing her cheek, she hugged me after.

"I just want my boy to be happy" She said back.

"And that I will be" I said.

After our talk, we went downstairs to finish brunch. I now had to face my dad, ugh. Inside I was mostly terrified, but I'm sure my mum will help me out.

"Mitch, sit please" My dad said. My mum looked at me and nodded to do it. I walked back to my seat next to Kayla, she smiled and held my hand under the table, telling me not to be scared.

"Mitch.. You know how much I love you right?" My dad asked me. I nodded.

"Now, I was talking with the family and with Kayla, and she was telling me how much that group meant to you, and you grew up with no hope of getting friends along with getting bullied, and she also told me that they were kind and they never hurt you feelings.. Right?" He then said again.

"Yeah, they never did anything to me" I replied back.

"So, If you ever see them again in life once more, you are allowed to be friends with them" He said.

What did Kayla say?

"Thanks dad" I said smiling. He nodded.

"If they do anything to me, tell me or you're mother.. Understood" He said again. I nodded.

"Good, let's eat again" My dad said.

Kayla's POV

Mitch's dad liked what I said. I'm so happy that worked, now Mitch can have friends. The brunch was now over, and we got ready for the drive home. I hugged Mitch's siblings goodbye. Mitch's mum then stopped me.

"Can I have a quick word with you?" She asked me. I nodded and followed her in the other room. She shut the door, and sat me down. I gulped.

"So, thank you for helping Sean out with Mitch's problem" She said. How did she know?

"It's no problem Mrs. Hughes" I then said again.

"I also want to thank you for helping Mitch and making him happy, it means a lot" She said. I nodded with a smile.

"He grew up with a rough start, he had no hope in himself, and it's hard having a kid with no self esteem, and having no faith" She then said again.

"Tell me" I said back. She looked at me sadly. He pulled out a photo of a cute little fetus picture of Mitch and another boy.

"This was Mat and Mitch" She said.

"Thats funny I have a friend named Mat" I said.

"Does he have curly hair?" She asked me.

"No he does not, he's blonde" I said then again.

"Good" She replied back. Mitch had only one friend in his life, I kept wanting to listen.

She pulled out more photos of them playing on the playground and having lots of fun. I smiled of how cute little Mitch looked.

"Mat and Mitch were really good friends and he was possibly the best friend that Mitch ever received, and they got along really well" She said.

"Mat was the only friend he ever had?" I asked.

"Uh.. kinda.. Mat was around longer than Mitch's old friends ever were, but if you want more info on Mitch's old friends, you can come with us on Christmas, were visiting Mitch's grandma" She said.

I nodded with agreement, I'll ask Mitch about it.

"So, keep going with Mat?" I asked. She nodded.

"Now Mat was a really good friend of Mitch, and he met him in a small grade of Kindergarten, they loved each other, they would have play dates and much more.. They spent their whole lives together, but then Mat went to a different High School then Mitch did, and Mat found more and more friends, and forgot about Mitch, Mitchell asked Mat if he wanted to hang out, and Mat would always say no. Mat never called Mitch anymore and it was sad news to me, Mitch wanted to kill himself because of it, it made me pissed off, and I felt horrible about myself, Mitch kept yelling at me because I never took care about it or spoke to Mat's mother about it. Which is also why Mitch, never talks to me anymore" She said getting emotional.

"Oh Mrs. Hughes it isn't your fault." I said trying to comfort her.

"I feel like it is.." She said.

"Well I'm telling you it isn't, Mitch knew that it was time to let go of Mat, and he couldn't take it and it was hard for him but look at him now, he a big success, he has me, he had The Pack. He knows who he is, and he feels needed now. I love him, and it's my job for him to feel loved.. And if I don't do that.. I failed you and your husband" I said.

She took my shoulder and squeezed it. She smiled at me.

"You're a lovely gal" She said. I smiled.

She gave me 2 of the pictures and I hid them in my bra from my dress. I saw Mitch and His father laughing, probably catching up on things. They saw me come in with his mother, I nodded telling Mitch that I was ready to go. Mitch turned to his dad and hugged him goodbye, and he went to his mother and did the same thing. His parents came and hugged me too.

"It was lovely meeting you" Mr. Hughes said.

"Same for you" I said back.

"Have a safe drive home" His Mother said. I waved goodbye, and so did Mitch. We got back into the car, and started driving home.

"What did my mother talk to you about?" Mitch asked. Oh god.
