A WEEK LATER
I've been in the hospital for a week. I finally get to go home. Since Max shot me on my side I have to be careful and it hurts to move. I got an ultrasound and I am 5 weeks pregnant. Dalton and I are keeping the baby so we are going to be a family. We are tell everyone after I get home.
"You ready to go home" Dalton asked
"Yeah, did you bring any extra clothes I could wear for now until we get to the house" I said
"Yeah there in this bag" he says going over to a bag
He grabs the clothes and gives them to me.
"Do you need help" he asked smiling
"Yes please, it hurts" I said
"Ok here hold on to my shoulders" he says
I hold on to his shoulders and he helps me out my pants on. Then he helps me put the shirt on. I bit my lip cause of the pain.
"Ok all done" he says
"Thank you" I said sitting on the bed
"Your welcome babe" he says sitting next to me
He puts is arm around my shoulder. I put my head on his shoulder.
"Are you ok babe" he asks
"My side hurts" I said
"I'm sorry did I hurt it" he asks
"no Dalton it's fine it hurts doing anything" I said
My mom and dad walk in the room.
"you ready to go home Crystal" my mom asks
"yeah" I said
"well a nurse is getting a wheelchair for you right now so we can leave" she asks
Then there was a knock on the door. A nurse walks in with a wheel chair.
"ok you ready to go home" the nurse says smiling
"yeah" I said
"I'll go get the car" my mom said
"I'll meet you at the house" my dad said
"ok" I said
Dalton and the nurse help me into the wheel chair. The nurse wheels me down to where the car is and Dalton helps me in.
"now you be careful and safe" the nurse
"ok thank bye" I said
"bye" she says waving and walking back in the hospital
Dalton gets in next to me and closes the door. The drive home was ok until we hit a bump then my side hurt.
"We are home" my mom says smiling
Dalton helps me in to the house and to the couch.
"I'm going to get your stuff lay here and rest" he said
"Ok" I said laying down
"MOMMY" I hear Mason yell running in
She runs over to me and climbs up on me.
"Mommy are you ok" she asks
"Yes baby I'm ok'' I said
She laid down on me and put her head in my neck. She fell asleep really quick. I pick her up and sit up. I stand up and groan from the pain. I walk to her room. I put her in her bed and put the covers over her and walk out. I walk to back the living room. Right when I walked in Dalton walked in.
