I turn over trying to smash the snooze button but end up knocking my alarm clock onto the floor.

"Elena are you awake"mother yells.
"Well now I am"I yell back.

As I walk down stairs my mom says that she has news for me

"Elena,we are moving to Kansas we can't afford to live in California anymore"Mother says
"But mom we can't move I love it here! "I say
"Well it's too late the owner said we have to be out by tomorrow. "My mom said
"Fine!"I say

I run upstairs and call my best friend Melissa.

E=Melissa I have bad news!
M=What is it?
E=Im moving to Kansas tomorrow.
M=Why?
E=Because we don't have enough money to live in Cali anymore.
M=Oh... well im gonna miss you so much!!

After I get off the phone I get in the shower and rinse off my makeup and sweat. After I get out o put on my pyjamas and go to sleep. I wake up at 5:30 am. My mom has already put all my boxes of stuff in the moving truck. I get up and get dressed.
"Elena its time to leave." My mom says
"Okay ill be down in a minute" I say
"Alright lock the door" she says
"Ok" I say
~5 minutes later~
I walk down stairs and see the whole house empty. Its sad but yet exciting because I've lived here since my dad died 6 years ago. But im excided because I've never been out of California.
