It happened in a flash. Everything turned bright and then.. I felt different. I wasn't a plain old rock anymore. I felt like I had a body. I felt strange pieces attached to my torso. Then, I opened my 'eyes' and...

Saw nothing.

I couldn't move at all. I was stuck and pointy hard things where poking me. Then I tried to move and the pointy stuff got worse. It went so hard that I couldn't stand it. I screamed but without moving my voice hole and then..

POOF!

Then, I felt different again. This time, I wasn't anything. I felt like mist. Everything was a shining green and nothing else. "Where did my body go?" I thought. Then, I felt my body again. "What happened?" I thought. Then, my body glowed. Then, I turned into energy. And then I was back in the pointy place. Suddenly, a giant grey machine came through the hard things. Then it grabbed the pointy stuff and pulled it away. Then a burst of light appeared. I actually saw stuff. I slowly climbed out and looked around. There were other beings coming out of holes that the machines made. There were also people examining the holes and checking if the beings were safe. All the beings had gems on their bodies. I looked around and I didn't see my gem. "Where's mine?" I said. "On your shoulder." A voice said. I turned around and next to me was a yellow person with a gem on her forehead. Suddenly, I started to know things. She was a Citrine. "Me?" I replied. "Yup." she said. I looked at my left shoulder and there it was. A green emerald just placed there. "I can't find mine either." the Citrine said. "It's on your forehead." I answered. She touched her gem and said thanks. "Hi, I'm Citrine." Citrine said, putting her hand out. "I'm Emerald." I replied, shaking her hand. "Hey you two!" a voice said. We turned around. It was an Amethyst guard.

"Welcome to Earth!"

A/N: Sorry that this is a bit short. It was hard to think since I wrote this on a plane so I couldn't think of a lot of gems. Plus, prolouges are, prolouges! The first chapter will hopefully have more detail on Emerald. Well, see ya later. BYE!!!!
