The bomb flew out of no-where, lightly bouncing on the ground, disturbing the dust. My eyes narrowed, as i took in the sleek design, and then i ran. however, I had left it too late. The bomb exploded, reducing everything to harsh white light, my back arching in the air, and I lay still.
"Damn it Josh" I frowned "you could have given me a bit of warning"
"Sorry Fangy, the points to win, not to be nice" Josh chuckled.
I tossed down the x-box controller, and stalked into the kitchen, very pissed off. I know its just a game, but come on! Jopsh had beaten me 12 times in the last 24 hrs, and I was fuming for revenge.
"Need anything?" I yelled
" some peanuts would be nice Fangy2 He replied
My eyes narrowed, I took in a deep breath and screamed
"DONT CALL ME FANGY!!!!"
"Whatever fangy" He laughed
I growled lightly, then grinned craftily, he wants fangs, ill giv him fangs
I strolled back into the dark livingroom, carrying two glasses , and bag of Nobby's nuts. I handed him the glass, and waited too see his exxpression.
" Aaaaaarrrggghhhh!!!!!" he screamed, throwing the dark liquid up the wall
"Kallie!!!"
i launched myself out the window, heading straight for the woods. I streaked along the path, little more than a blur to human eyes. I heard him coming after me. I streaked straight up the nex tree, throwing myself up it till I reached the silver tops. I watched him sniff the air, catching my scent, then he was off, straight n the other direction.
I grinned silently, then, silent as a panther, dropped from the tree, landing on the pine-covered floor, and I headed home again.
THe next day, Josh drew up along my house, in his new black car, studiously ignoring me. I smiled, then vaulted into his gorgeous car. I mean, I know girls arent supposed to know much about cars, but this was definatl a beauty! He glared at me, then slide away from the kurb smoothly.
After 10 minutes, i was throughly ticked off.
"Geez Josh! Im sorry, it was a frickin' Joke!!" I shouted
" I know, I was seeing how long it would take you" He grinned
" Im disapointed fangy, only 10 minutes?"
i was tempted to shove him, but then he might crash. We wouldnt get hurt, indestructability has its perks, but I would cry if I saw this wrapped around a tree.
I could wait
" Anyhows Fangy, I already got my revenge" He said smugly
"enjoy you trip to the dentist"
