It's like once you've been hurt, you're so scared to get attached again. You have this fear, that every person you start to like is going to tear you apart, or even worse, break your heart. Having gone through a nasty break up, Kallie and her twin brother Karter decide it's time to move and finish their senior year of college in another state, to avoid the nasty comments and awkward atmosphere of their old college. However, having supernatural powers is not always an easy thing to hide. Along the way, a familiar face from Karter's past makes an appearance old friendships are rekindled. Jealousy arises when Kallie's new job puts her between a bad boy and a girl who has no claim on him. Drama becomes involved when best friends misunderstand actions and friendships fall apart while love plays the hero and brings the right people together.

This story takes place in the 1850's. It is about a 14 year old girl who live in New York for a while but then her dad up and decides to move to the mountains in Montana and Kallie, the girl, is now 19, and is not happy about this. In the mountains, Kallie meets a beautiful horse and it leads to romance, fights, and maybe a little love. ***** This story was ment to be a short story but became longer than I thought it would. It is in parts and not chapters because if I put it all into one part the part would be over 1,000 words long and I didn't want to do it that way so, it is just parts but no chapters.
