Chapter 1 - life

I'm out. After ten years of being trapped in a tiny room, starved to the max, shoved into a corner and having no affection what so ever.. I can finally see what's outside of that room.

Nature? Feet? People? This is all new to me, where do I begin, what do I do?

I see light, I see people, I see smiles. I'm a Sixteen year old girl kidnapped at six years old not knowing where to take my next steps with out a family.

"Hello Veronica, are you ok?" Asked a middle aged man.

"Ahh, who are you!" I replied with a jump.

"I'm here to help you, I'm Dr. John." He said in a nice manner.

I didn't even realise that I was sitting in a psychologist's office, it was like my mind was in a different world!

"I need you to tell me what happened when you were trapped in that room for ten years, think deeply and don't be afraid, I'm here for you!" Dr John told me nicely.

I sat there and couldn't reply I was emotionally ill, I started shaking and tears came dripping down my face.

"Veronica? It's ok, it's best to let it out it will help.. I promise." Dr John said with affection, I thought to myself.. 'What is affection?'

I trusted him, I needed to talk since I will never forget those ten years of hell.. EVER.

He was sitting there waiting, as I started to open my mouth a family walked in the door.

"Hi Dr. John! You wanted to see us?" Said a family of four happily, my family passed away before I was kidnapped they were in a bad car crash and I miss them terribly! I would do anything to bring them back..

"Oh yes, please come back in four hours I have some business to take care of sorry." Dr. John replied strictly.

"U-um is that my new family??" I stuttered,

"We will talk about that later Veronica, now you need to talk to me about your story!" Replied Dr. John with a straight face.

"O-ok right.. well it all started when.." I said while shaking.
