Five Themes Of Geography
Mr. Help:
Movement- Moving People, Goods, Ideas.
Accesibility: Ability to reach physically via car, plane, boat, etc.
Connectivity: Ability to reach via technology like radio, TV, etc.

Region-An are on eat marked by some degree of sameness.
Functional Region: Defined by a system that functions with that region. Bus, radio signal, Gov. Services.
Formal Region: Cultural or Physical Uniformity. Land, language, religion.
Perceptual/verbacular region: Region based on opinion, perception.

Human-Enviorment Interaction- Humans adapt to Enviorment. Changes: Small; Modification
Big; Conversion
Enviormental determinism: A belief that the physical enviorment determine culture opposed to social or ideological beliefs.
Enviormental Possiblism: A belief that the enviorment may limit a societies options, but human choices are the determining factor in advancement and improvement.
Cultural Ecology: The study of a how a group adapts to it's enviorment.
Political Ecology: The study of how the enviorment is both the result of political and social issues as well as a deciding factor in many social and political issues.

Location-
Absolute: Exact location that never changes; Address or Longitude ⬆️Primeridian E-W, International Date line, 180 degrees⬇️ Latitude⬅ Equator N-S, 90 degrees️➡️
Relative: Where a place is in relation to another well-known place. Can change.
Location Theory: Using Data to figure out the best Location for something.

Place- Physical and Human characteristic each location on earth has. Cultural aspects
Sence of Place: Assosiating a place with emotions.
Perception of Place: Our idea of a place because of the Media.

GIS: Geographic Informational System. Using maps for layers of data.

Cultural landscape: The imprint of human activity on a landscape

Sequent Occupance: Idea that groups leave their imprint on a place.

Cartography: The science of making maps.

Reference maps: maps used to find a location or a route.

Types: Mercator Projection: Goal was to create a map with true directions, but it distorts sizes further from the equator.

Robinson Projection: It is like Mercator but rounded on the edges
