3. Coffee Shop

I swiftly made my way to the bathroom near the math room to see Ruby grinning.

"I thought you'd never make it" Ruby giggled,

"Of course i would, i'm not lost just yet" I said, Ruby smirked. "so...why did you want to meet me here?"

"One, i was bored in history and two i wanted to ask what you wanted to do tonight!" She questioned

"oh, i don't mind, whatever you wanna do?"

"How about movies, we can watch some movies when i pick you up, my mum won't be home tonight." She said in her perfect Australian accent.

"Sounds great, what was your excuse for leaving the lesson?"

"I felt sick, i don't really but Mrs Lewis thinks i do." She said laughing.

~~~TIME JUMP 30 MINUTES~~~

We talked for another 30 minutes before we heard the bell ring and she was going to return to class to grab her back.

"Hey, i'm done for the day, what about you?" Ruby asked

"Yep, all done, why?"

"How about we go to dinner, and i'll drop you of after and see you again at 5?" 

"Sure, any reason?"

"I like hanging out with you."

"Really, i like hanging out with you too, even though we only really talk at lockers usually." 

We both laughed as she put her arm around my neck placing her hand on my shoulder. She hugged me and i returned the hug, I felt her tense slightly so we left the hug as she left to get her bag but i already had mine.

"Meet me outside" Ruby shouted, with an ear-to-ear grin on her face, i joined in the grin and walked over to the main entrance near the parking lot.

OMG RUBY HUGGED ME!!! I thought to myself, screaming inside.

~~~TIME SKIP 5 MINUTES~~~

Ruby saw me outside and we walked to her car together, we got in and drove to a local coffee shop nearby. We walked inside and ordered our drinks and a cupcake each, as i reached into my pocket to get some money out, i heard,

"Thank you, please take a seat and we'll bring you things over to you!"

I glanced at Ruby who playfully punched me on the shoulder.

"You didn't have to pay, you should have let me pay, even if it was just mine."

"To late, it's my treat anyway!" Ruby said as we walked over to a small table. 

We talked for almost 20 minutes at the coffee shop. We got to know each other more and i learned that although i knew she was gay already, she was open about it, and her gender fluidity. If anything, that made her 10 times hotter (if that's possible) and she discovered that i was gay but not so open. She came out when she was 12 whereas me when i was 14. Our favourite colours are the same, blue and black.

After another 10 minutes of talking after we finally finished our drinks and cupcakes, she drove me back home.

"Today has been great so far, i'll text you when i get here near 5 okay?"

"Okay," I smiled, "bye love!"

"Bye, Ruby." I said turning around and walking inside the house.

I closed the door behind me and seeing her drive away as i was greeted by my mom asking, how my first day was whilst giving me a big hug. I responded with good and told her about Ruby. She knew that i was gay and asked me,

"She's just a friend right honey? I'm kidding i bet she's amazing and whatever she is to you!"

"Yeah, she is amazing but just a friend." I responded quickly whilst running up the stairs to my room to pick some clothes to wear at her house.

Uhm, red tank top with black leggings or white tank top with the green flannel and leggings. I thought to myself. Yeah, the flannel outfit looks cuter, and my black and white high tops would go great with it. 

As the time was getting close to 4:50, I got my shoes on after having a shower and getting changed at 4:00, i recieved a text.

TEXT MESSAGE: Ruby <3

I'm here :P If your phone is on!!! xD

I opened the door and shouted to my mother that i'm going to hang out with Ruby tonight. She said have fun and i speedily walked outside to see Ruby leaning against the car side greeting me with a hug, i returned the hug. When we stopped the hug she ran around the car and opened the door for me.

"Thank you Ruby!"

"Anytime love!" She smiled. I love how she says love, it is so cute.

We drove round to her house which was about ten minutes away and talked the whole journey there. She's amazing.
