It had been 8 years since Rumplestiltskin became the Dark One. He already made a lot of deals, but he broke one, a really important one...The deal with his son. He promised Baelfire he will go with him in another world without magic and be himself again. He was too coward to jump and Baelfire fell in the portal...Alone. Now, Baelfire was lost in a completely different world and Rumplestiltskin had to get him back.
Now, he was summoned by the king of Avonlea. This is going to be fun, Rumplestiltskin thought. Then, he remembered...The princess of Avonlea helped him, so he should return the favour, should he? He appeared in front of their doors, knocking loudly.

Belle was now 26 years old and the Ogre War was threatening their kingdom. Her mother was killed by an Ogre and she was devastated by that sad event. They needed to get out of this situation, so she thought they should summon The Dark One. So they summoned him. When they heard the knock, they opened the doors, but there was nobody. Until they heard a high-pitched giggled behind them. They all turned to look at him and Belle recognized him immediately. He's the man I helped 8 years ago...she thought happilly, but she had to keep a straight face in the castle.
- I got your message...something like 'Help! Help! We're dying, can you save us?' Rumplestiltskin told them in his impish voice. Gaston raised the sword in front of him, but Rumple pushed it back down and answered...
-The answer is yes, I can...for a price
-We already sent you a promise of gold, King Maurice said, keeping a serious face. Apparently, he didn't know who the dark reptilian imp in front of him was.
Rumplestiltskin looked around at all of them and giggled with that stupid impish insane giggle of his.
-You see, I...make gold...What I want is a bit more special... Rumplestiltskin told them
He thought for a minute and saw the girl. The girl who saved him and his son and protected them 8 years ago. The strong beauty he thought he will never see again. The petite gorgeous girl who helped them even if he was named by the others 'the coward of the town'...How could he ever forget her. That wonderful, kind princess named Belle French. It was such a fitting name for her. She is the perfect price, he thought and smiled at the idea. When he finally decided the price, he answered them
-What I want...is her... The Dark One said and pointed with his crocodile finger at her.
Maurice and Gaston, her arranged husband-to-be, started protesting and protecting her, but she went in front of Rumple, trying to look serious and brave
-No one decides my fate but me! I should go with you...my friends, my family...they will all live? Belle asked and raised her eyebrow, trying not to smile her brightest and hug him immediately in front of the others. How I missed him...she thought and when she felt a smile appearing on her face, she pushed it back.
-You have my word, The Dark One said
-And you have mine! Belle answered and let him take her.
Rumplestiltskin put his hand on her back and went out from the castle with her. She saw he had a carriage and got into the carriage with his help, then he entered and sat in front of her.
-I know you...You're Rumplestiltskin, the one I met 8 years ago...you had a son, Baelfire...I helped you back home that day, Belle said and let her bright smile appear on her face. She truly felt happy to see him again after such a long time. She really hoped she will see him again and now she does
-Well, you guessed right, beautiful princess Belle French...I didn't have the chance to thank you for what you've done for me and my son, so thank you very much, Rumplestiltskin answered and he smiled back.
Belle sat next to him, not realizing the carriage was moving. She hugged him tightly and smiled. She kissed his cheek and blushed strongly.
-You don't have to thank me...I should be the one who should apologize, because my dad was going to do such a cruel thing to you...I couldn't let that happen...Belle spoke softly and looked up at him with her sparkly blue eyes, not knowing that a tear fell on her cheek.
Rumplestiltskin wiped away her tear and smiled at her. He cupped her face with his hands and kissed her forehead. He didn't think she did anything wrong and he thought she shouldn't apologize for what happened then.
-How I missed that gorgeous blue eyes of yours...but I don't like to see you cry...That wasn't your fault and you shouldn't apologize for something you didn't do. You saved me and Baelfire, Belle, you did something good and I thank you! Rumplestiltskin told her and smiled.
Belle managed to smile back and stopped her tears. She leaned her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes.

When they arrived to the castle, Belle was asleep on Rumplestiltskin's shoulder and he was holding her tightly, but gently. He realized she was sleeping and smiled at himself. So pure and beautiful...Rumplestiltskin thought to himself and decided not to wake her. He got out of the carriage with her in his arms. The sun was shinning on her face and he smiled as he saw that. He thought she looked...angelic. He entered in the castle and went to his bedroom. He lay her down on the bed and put a blanket on her. Belle was sleeping, her lips were a little bit parted.
After two hours of sleep, she woke up, slowly opening her eyes. She saw Rumplestiltskin staying on the bed and holding her hand. She blushed and thought that was so cute and wonderful.
-Hey Rumple...Belle said with a sleepy voice. Rumple looked down at her and smiled, he liked the nickname she gave him.
-Did you have a good sleep?
-The best I could ever have, she answered and smiled. She sat up and hugged him. She felt really happy she will live with him forever.
-I'm glad to hear that, Rumplestiltskin said and smiled at her, hugging her back. Belle looked up and she leaned in and Rumple did the same. Her lips touched his and his touched hers. She kissed him softly and he kissed her back, both smiling in the kiss.

And let's just say that what happened after this, was a happilly ever after...

A.N. - Hey guys! So here, I decided to say that Rumple's spell will not break with true love's kiss, so Belle and Rumple can kiss without him getting angry and throwing her from the castle. I finished my first one-shot, but as you saw, I did it in 2 parts (Kindness 1 and Kindness 2)💖
