" can we have pancakes" asked Josh
" hey mom can you make us some pancakes" I asked
she laughed and walked to the kitchen" chocolate chip ones right" she asked
" yes please" Ethan said
I laughed at them, and they all looked at me
" so why are you guys here for pancakes" I asked sitting down on the couch
" well we all kinda got kicked out of our house for dinner" Josh said
" wait how did all of you guy get kicked out" I asked
" well I told my mom that your mom makes really good pancakes and then she got really upset and called his mom" Josh pointed to axel" and then she asked if he thought that too, and then she called their mom" he pointed to the twins" and the same thing happened, so now we are here" he said
" wow, you never tell your mom that another mom cooks better" I said
" really, why" asked Dylan
" well because then they think that another mom is doing better at the mom job and then they feel threatened that their kids will like the other mom more than them" I said " so when you go home, tell your mom that you take back what you said, that the pancakes were like burnt or something"
" what if they aren't burnt though"
" well still tell her that they were, it will make her feel 1000 times better" I said and got up and walked into the kitchen cause I could start to smell the pancakes. the boys stayed sitting on the couch and when I went to go back into the living room I could hear my brother talking to them
" so what do you want with my sister" my brother asked
" nothing little dude, we're her friends" said Josh
I smiled at my little brother being protective over me, I walked back into the living room and told everyone to come to the table for dinner. we all piled around the table and my mom brought out pancakes, and eggs, and hashbrowns, and bacon
" woah mrs. franklin, thank you so much" said Dylan and then all the boys dug in.
I tried to fight in between them to get food, I finally gave up and just took one off Josh's plate
He looked at me
" what" I asked happily munching on my pancake
" you just stole my pancake" he said
" well you guys took all of them" I said
Just as I said that my mom walked in with another plate of pancakes
I looked back at josh, who reached into my plate and took the rest of the stolen pancake and shoved it in his mouth.
I glared at him, and he smirked back at me.

I pull up to school in the backseat of Josh's car, as I got out I saw many people looking at me then whispering to their friend who would then look at me, I felt like I was in a fishbowl, and the whole entire world was staring at me, but the boys didn't even seem phased by the stares, almost like it boosted their confidence, where as I wanted to shrink and become as small as possible. I walked away from the guys to meet up with my new friends, I walked up to them and they were all excited about something.
"so what's got you all riled up this morning" I asked
" they all looked at me
" you're like famous now"
" why"I asked
" because your like friends with josh, and ethan, and Dylan, and axel" Sunny said
" i'm not friends with them, Josh stole my pancake last night" I said
" oh my god, is pancake a codeword for virginity" Kylie asked
" what no, pancake is a cold word for pancake." I said " I mean like literally he took the pancake off my plate and shoved it in his face" I saw my friends eyes widened
" that's not true, she took my pancake first then I took it back" Josh said poking me in the side
And walking away with the guys. I rolled my eyes at them.
" are you guys ok" I asked
" uh yeah" Sunny said still slightly stunned.
"come on" I said dragging them into school to start our fist class.

The bell had just rung and I remembered that the guys are now my main mode of transportation.
I walk around the halls until I found the indoor field. This school must be very sports driven and not academically driven, I thought to myself.
" hey what are you doing here" Josh asked pulling me out of my thoughts
He had his helmet resting in his forehead as he talked to me. I saw all the other lacrosse players still running around
" idk I was just wandering around" I said
" oh well today we have a little bit longer practice, so we will be here an hour after school instead of a half hour, so if you want to wait your fine here you can go sit in the bleachers" he said
" na I find you later, I'm going to explore the school some more" I said and waved goodbye to him
I confined to walk around until I was outside watching the football practice for a couple of moments, Axel waved to me and I waved back.
I walked back inside and then wandered down to the pool area, knowing that it was the pool area because all you could smell was chlorine. I walked in to the pool area and sat down on the bleachers to watch the twins.
Soon their swim practice ended and they all hopped out of the pool.
" hey Iz " said Dylan
" hey guys, you all are really good swimmers" I said
They smiled " thanks, but we can improve" they both said in sync
" well we're going to go get changed and then we will go home" Ethan said
I nodded my head and sat back down on the bleacher and went on my phone, aimlessly scrolling.
" alright ready" they said
I shoved my phone back into my pocket and we walked out of the door
We walked bay the indoor arena where the lacrosse guys were
" come on josh" I yelled " or we're stealing your car"
His head popped up and he walked over to us
" god your persistent" he said and walked in front of us to go to the car
As we walked out Axel was already leaning against the car
We were about to get into the car when a big looking dude came up to us, he was much taller than the guys, who were around 6'2".
" yo are u josh" the kid asked
" yeah what do u need" Josh asked cockily
The dude pulled his fist back and then made contact with Josh's jaw
I sucked in air, that had to of hurt, but Josh didn't even budge.
" what did I do now" he asked
" you slept with my girlfriend" he said and then when to punch Josh again but Josh decked him in the nose.
" oooh" said Dylan
I open up the car door and sat on the seat sideways where my legs were still outside so I could see the fight
" alright that's enough" Ethan said and ripped Josh off the kid
" can we go home now" I asked buckling up
" yeah we can go home" Josh said
I looked over at him and he had a slight bruise forming on his jaw. I didn't say anything though cause he probably already knew.
" wait so where do you guys live" I asked
" we live right up the street for you" Ethan said.
" really" I said
" yeah I will drop them off first so you can see" Josh said
We dropped off Ethan and Dylan who are just up the street and Axel is right next to them. The are all about 5 houses up from us.
We drove back to his house and he parked In his driveway. I got out and started to walk across the grass.
" thanks for the ride" I said and walked into my house.
