"What?!"

Hazel looked at Ethan, and have him a 'are you serious' look, but laughed when she saw that he was actually being serious.

"Why? What's wrong in that? You can tell your mom it's a volunteer trip or something like that. She'll allow if you say there are other 'people'."
Ethan said with a straight face, actually being serious about it.

"Bruh, tf you talking about! She won't let me go with you and I don't want to go with you and spend my summer like that"

Ethan sighed heavily and said,

"Who said I'll be there with you the whole time! I'm saying that I'll help you get out, you can bring me and we both can convince her that we have a volunteer trip. She'll believe it because I'm there, so she'll know there are more people, then you can go wherever you want."

Hazel liked the idea. Her mom won't be convinced if she tried to tell her about the 'volunteer' trip all by herself but if Ethan came along and pretended to be going on that trip as well, her mom might believe it and so she said, trying hard to cover her excitement,

"Well I gotta say Mister, I like the idea. It'll probably convince her and she's leaving in two weeks, she anyways so she won't mind. But wait- How did you think of it? I mean, I know it's the first thing that would come in anyone's mind but, you...?"

Hazel said, trying to annoy Ethan but it clearly did not work as she did this everytime and he had gotten used to it. He looked at her and smirked, deciding to annoy her as well.

"Why do you think I have this bag with me?"

"Because it is -YOU RAN AWAY! Won't your parents check with your friends and all?!"

Ethan smirked saying, "Huntee, I never do anything without thinking it through. I told Derek from Biology to be my backup whenever my parents call. He's also taken a few pictures of me in different outfits here so he'll just keep sending them now them to convince them "

Hazel looked at him, amazed and impressed. It took her a few seconds to realize that she was staring at him wide-eyed the whole time, and she tried to get away with it by laughing it off, but ended up snorting, twice.

"You just snorted! TWICE! "

Ethan said between his loud horrendous laughs, and Hazel ended up laughing at him when he snorted as well. After five minutes, when they were done laughing at their laughs, they finally stopped and Hazel asked Ethan,

"Since you're such an expert at this... when do you plan on convincing my mom?"

"How 'bout now?

"The sooner the better yass let's goo!"

Hazel squealed, getting up and Ethan got up too, waiting for her to lead the way back to her house but Hazel took her time realizing he didn't really know this route.

"Shouldn't you like, go ahead cause last time you followed me to my house from around the same area..."

Hazel said playfully, while Ethan kept a straight face the whole time.

"No. Lead me to your house."

"Fine. Follow me, Mr.Clark"

Ethan followed Hazel through the forest, his eyes focused on her the whole time. She turned around occasionally to reply to his questions, and each time she did he felt something. She would turn around with a smile on her face, and the sunlight that crept in from in between the leaves, would make her look so beautiful. He knew something had happened to her, something that was bothering her, but he didn't ask because he wanted her to forget about it.

"We're here."

Hazel said, seeming happy, when Ethan interrupted her,

"Oh, would you like me to enter your house because if I remember properly, last time you said 'don't enter my house'?"

Hazel remembered that and regretted she said that, which made Ethan chuckle.

"Um... I'm saying you can enter it now cause, if I remember someone just barged into it, and that was literally so frickin' rude." she said as if she was suddenly high.

"Wow... You know you aren't really good at this-"

"Yeah, I know. Let'sjustgoin."

Hazel mumbled the last part, impatient to convince her mom and go somewhere all by herself, away from everyone.

Ethan and Hazel kept having small 'cute' arguments about how Ethan couldn't score with the hot girl from the bar when they both met Hazel's mother in the living room, taking in her daily dose of news trivia.

"Morning Ms. Davies, how have you been doing?" said Ethan while Hazel's mother looked at him like it was her first time seeing a man.

"Oh wow Ethan it's been a real long time! You look - good job growing up" Ms. Davies said looking at Hazel with an expression that could only be described as 'that's-a-score' look.

All three laughed at the comments received and Hazel finally felt at home, Ethan had made it feel at home. She wanted to capture this moment in her living room and she was grateful for how things turned out for the best. Her mother was a better person, she was finally happy which made Hazel happy.

"So kids moving on from how I embarrassed myself- OH I almost forgot, I remember you love coffee Ethan so let me get both of you guys some", Ms. Davies said walking up to her beloved coffee machine, "What brings you here this early Ethan?"

Ethan looked at Hazel and she knew instantly that he was about to say something really cheeky and before she could sabotage the situation, Ethan says,

"I am here to take your daughter away, I have a something planned for us."
