Chapter 27) Play Date P1

(Ciara pov)
I decided to have a play date with Shad so our kids can play together.

I'm home alone, in the living-room calling Shad so he and his daughter Shai can come over.

(Phone Conversation)
"Hello?" He says.

"Hi, Shad, It's Ciara." I replied.

"Sup, CiCi. How ya been?" He asked me.

"Good, Actually. And you?" I told him.

"I'm just chilling, So what's up?" He says.

"Um, I was thinking maybe Future Jr & Shai could do a play date." I told him.

"Sure, That'll be cool, What's your address?" He asked me as I gave him my address to my house.

"Thanks, Ci. I'm gonna come to the crib at 6." He says, as I smiled at myself.

"Great, See ya later." I replied.

"Ight, Bye CiCi."  He says then I hanged up.

After giving Shad his address to my house, I felt really happy that Shad & I are see each other for the 3rd time.

I mean, I'm glad that we're still close as we were before.

And besides, What we've had has always been something beautiful.

Especially since we were each other's first love since we started dating.

Like I said before, "I've always loved what Shad and I had together, besides, Our moments together felt like a beautiful fairytale."

Anyway, I heard a knock so I got to  answered & it was Shad with his daughter Shai & I them both in.

"Hi, Shad, thanks for coming." I said.

"No problem. So, Where's that handsome son of yours." He says.

"Oh. I'll go get you, be right back." I said then went to get Future Jr.

I came back to the living-room with Future Jr.

"Shai, I would love you to meet my  son, Future Jr." I told her.

"Hi, I'm Shai." She says introducing herself to Future Jr.

"Hi, Shai. My name's Future." He says, introducing himself.

"Hey, Future, Do  you wanna show Shai, your room?" I suggested as he nodded happily.

Then they ran upstairs to his room, leaving me and Shad alone.

"Well. I'm really happy to hear that you're married to Russell Wilson. I'm sure you've been the best wife he'd ever have." He complimented.

"Thanks, Shad. Anyway, What do you wanna do?" I asked him.

"Um. We could just tell each other our lives. And maybe through memory lane?" He suggested.

"Okay. That sounds like a good idea. So, Did you found yourself a special someone yet?" I asked him as he just shook his head "no".

"Really, Why?" I asked, surprised.

"Um. The only one relationship I've always admired was ours." He told me.

"Really?" I questioned, still surprised.

"Of course, And I still have love for you. I mean, In several interviews I've been in, I mostly talk bout our past together." He says.

"Wow!" I replied, feeling flattered.

"Speaking of memory lane, I'm sorry for what I did. I didn't mean to hurt you." He says.

"It's okay. I mean, We've both moved on & that's all in the past." I told him as he nodded.

"Anyway. Um, I can never forget bout our relationship, along with our moments together. I mean, I started having thoughts on us. Honestly, I've always loved what we had together, besides, Our moments together felt like a beautiful fairytale. I mean, One of the songs from me that I consider as a beautiful thoughts on our moments is obviously Promise the remix. Like I said, "Our moments together felt like a beautiful fairytale." And besides, what we had has always been something beautiful. I mean, We were each other's first love since we started dating." I told him. 

"Wow, That's sweet of you to say that." He says, smiling.

"Your welcome, Shad."  I replied, smiling back. 

"Um, Ci. I'll always love you, I mean, I knew what we had has always been something beautiful. I mean, I've always fallen for you since October 2004, and we were pretty tight during that time. Besides, I've gotten my eyes on you & thought of you as my princess, my girl & as my shorty. I still can't move on from me & you, Especially after hearing our throwback song, "Like You". Along with remembering the memories of us. I just felt like our moments together as a couple were more than just puppy love. I mean, It was like a fairytale but more beautiful. And besides, Having those thoughts I've had bout us, I knew what we had  felt like a beautiful fairytale. And that's never gonna change cause no other girl got me falling like she does. All I'm saying is I can't get her or what we'd had together outta my system. Especially since all these sweet thoughts I'm having of us & our moments together got me falling. And like I said before, "I knew what we had has always been something beautiful." He explained his thoughts of us.

I couldn't help but feel flattered, from hearing every words he said.
