It took almost two weeks to clean up the mess from the church explosion. Nothing happened for a while but we were always ready.
I was enjoying my rare moment of down time when a maid rushed into my privet chambers.
"Princess!"
I stood up and said "Eloxa? What happened?"
"It's the royal throne room."
I ran out the room and found Famith outside.
"Don't let her in there until the smoke movers get here."
"Get them here now. I don't care if we have to magically teleport them here."
I stood there and said "Whoever was in the room go see a doctor. I don't want anyone returning to work until they have the all clear. Understand?"
"Yes miss."
They all left and I looked at Famith.
"What happened?"
"The draps just burst into flames. The guards managed to get the fire under control."
"What else was damaged?"
He looked uncomfterble. I said "Famith what else was damaged?"
"The royal painting."
"What?!"
I barged into the room and looked around.
"Princess it's not safe in here!"
I waved my hand and the doors opened while all the smoke was pushed out.
"Oh. Cool power."
I looked at the painting and growled.
"Princess-."
"Get the royal guard caption. Now."
"Right away your highness."
I walked out the room and said "I want all witness of the take over in the meeting hall as soon as possible."
"Why?"
"The painting wasn't ruined by the fire."
"Uh?"
"I have to make sure it's possible first. Call the royal spell caster to the meeting room as well."
"Yes princess."
