brennan's pov.

ding.

i sleepily opened my eyes and checked who could be texting me at 1 o' clock in the morning.

caleb: hey dude, you still up??

i groaned and texted him back.

brennan: i am now. what do you need?

caleb: i need to talk to you tomorrow. in private.

brennan: you woke me up, to tell me that?!!

caleb: sorry.. come to my house tomorrow morning with katie. please.

brennan: ok ok ok. goodnight caleb.

caleb: sweet dreams brennan.

calebs pov.

i laid in bed thinking how i'm gonna confess my love to brennan. it's a stupid idea. he probably likes alyssa or jessica or someone that's not me. and even if he did like me, it's not like our parents would approve! it's against everything we learn in church! i guess they're just gonna have to accept that their son is gay.

as i was finally beginning to doze off, my alarm clock went off.

"greeeaaaat." i groaned as i got out of bed. another night, no sleep.

i walked to annie's room and lightly knocked on the door. i didn't hear her alarm clock or her so i figured i'd wake her up.

"hey ans?" i asked as i approached her bed.

"what?" she answered back sleepily.

"time to rise and shine."

she groaned and got out of bed. i walked back to my room and showered quickly. today's the day.

annie's pov.

after caleb woke me up, i quickly showered and got ready. as my hair was drying, i put on skinny jeans, a maroon, long-sleeved, knit shirt, and my adidas superstars.

"dressed to impress." i laughed as i talked to myself in the mirror.

i then curled my hair and ran downstairs to eat breakfast. since katie lives across the street, she always come over at approxim-

knock knock knock.

now.

"come in!" i yelled expecting just katie to walk in. when i saw brennan and katie i was surprised.

brennan ran upstairs and katie sat beside me.

"what's he doing here?" i asked confused.

"apparently, caleb wants to talk to him, in private. idk. boys." she said as she walked over to my fridge, getting out the orange juice.

i nodded.

what would caleb need to talk to brennan about?

brennan's pov.

i ran up to calebs room and knocked on his door.

"come in!" he yelled.

i walked in to see him in just khakis at his closet, trying to pick out a matching shirt.

"geez dude, put a shirt on!" i said covering my eyes in a jokingly disgusted way.

"sorry dude." i uncovered my eyes so he knew i was joking.

"so, what did you wanna talk about?" he stopped moving.

"hello? earth to caleb, do your read me?"

and then, that's when he did it.

he turned around, and he kissed me.
