CHAPTER 3: PAY BACK

"Ms. Jade? Ms. Jade?!" I look up to see the teacher and the whole class staring at me.

"Uhhh, yes?"

"Do you know the answer?" The teacher looks at me with a duh expression.

"I-

*RING RING RING RING*

Saved by the bell. "Bye!" I yell as I rush out of the room before the teacher stop's me.

"Ms. Jade!!!" I hear the teacher says, but , I'm long gone.

I walk to my locker and notice Lia waiting for me. "Hey Lia!" I say as I open my locker.

"Hey! Have you heard about Conner's party?" She asks me as I stuff my textbook in my locker.

"Yeah, he invited me," I say casually, and close my locker.

"OH MY GOSH! Can I come?" She gushes and I plug my ears.

"OK, OK, you don't have to damage my eardrums." I say as I rub my ear.

"We have to go shopping!" Jules says and jumps up and down.

We walk to the cafeteria, talking about the party. We order our lunch before looking for a place to sit. We go outside and decide to just eat lunch behind a tree.

"Is you brother hot?" Jules asks. After I told her that I have an older brother, she thinks that he is like some Calvin Klein model.

"He is a Fuckboy," I say and take another bite of my burrito.

"Honestly, most guys are," She answers.

I stare at her, "He takes home girls at night and then in the morning, they run out of the house, with tears streaming down their faces," I trail off when Jack, Conner, and Hunter sit down beside us with their gorgeous smirks on their faces. Wait did I just think that? "Why are you guys here?" I snap at them.

"Princess, you have a brother?" Hunter says putting an arm around my shoulder.

I throw his arms off. "So Jules how about your sister?" I say ignoring Hunter, but the smirk on his face only grows wider.

"Uh Morgan? I don't have a sister," The guys burst out laughing and I roll my eyes and and take another bite of my burrito.

"Are you ignoring me baby doll?" Hunter asks me as he puts a hand on my shoulder.

I look up to Hunter to see him Grinning. I look behind him and see Con and Jack also grinning.

What are they up to?

I wake up the next morning to the sun radiating disappointment on my face. Last night I just came home and collapsed on my bed and completely forgot about my homework.

Groaning, I crawl out of bed and into the washroom. Yes you read that right, crawled out of bed. I looked in the mirror, I look like a mess.

"A hot mess" I hear my brother say. I sigh knowing that I had said that out loud. "Bye beautiful" wait... now I'm confused.

I walk out of the washroom to see my brother smirking at his phone before stuffing it on his pocket.

"Who was that?" I ask confused.

"Some girl I met at a party," he says shrugging and walking off.

I roll my eyes thinking that it's probably just another girl he hooked up with.
