"Do you really think this is a good idea?" Sophie asked with evident concern in her voice, "I mean..before I had someone telling me what to do most of the time, now..."
"I think you'll do just fine, you're powerful, both of you." Orilie said with pity in her eyes.
The currently incapacitated councilers leaped back to their homes to figure out how to tell the public the news that they were out of office. They knew that a very small percentage of the elven population would like this, yeah, they tolerated Sophie and her friends because they had "defeated" the neverseen. When they would find out they would freak out and there would be an outrage. They had to convince the people that they knew what they were doing, even though they didn't.
"I should be focusing on finding my dad and Biana." Fitz said with a bitter tone. Sophie could see the pain that it caused him to not be out in the world looking for his family. He had been very defensive over them since they had found out about Alvar being part of the organization that tried to kill them.
"Do you think that I like not having them here, your dad would know what to do in this situation, he always had some sort of plan. You KNOW that I am pretty lost without Biana, she has been there when everybody else got mad and left me swimming in my own mind. So if you think for one second that you have the right to be so self obsorbed to not focus on the task at hand, then you have it all wrong mister."
"I'm sorry but-"
"No if, and, or buts, we are getting them back, but first we have to get a group of allies, we can't do this alone" Sophie countered.
