Episode 1 and 2

This drama was originally a webtoon; however it was so popular it was turned into a drama, and that is for a good reason as well. The plot line, as well as the character development, are achieved well in this drama.

First off, this drama focuses on the relationship within a group of university students. To be more specific, Hong Seol, or Kim Go Eun, and her senior Yoo Jung, or Park Hae Jin, have a very complicated relationship.

EP 1

Let's start with the basics and the background information. Hong Seol comes from a middle-poor family. She has a problem with college expenses. Yoo Jun, on the other hand, is a rich, handsome college student who seems nice on the outside but is clever and cruel on the inside. The first year that these two met started with a bad start. They were having a college party, which is the place where they first met. The party clearly didn't go too well, and Hong Seol's first impression of Yoo Jun was negative, which was something that Yoo Jun disliked. And so, as the year went by, Yoo Jun used his clever ways to harass Hong Seol. This caused Hong Seol to yearn for a break from school. However, a turn of events forced Hong Seol to continue school.

However, as the new year starts, Yoo Jun, who was thought to be a deceiving man, began to be nice to Hong Seol. At first, Hong Seol was suspicious but later began to open up. However, is this really a good choice? 

Many watchers have commented that they believe this deceiving man could be planning a plot. However, we really aren't sure and will simply need to continue to watch. 

EP 2

Jealousy begins to boil as the woman who loves Yoo Jun sees him with Hong Seol. As jealousy continues, the woman's tactics become more serious. Moreover, negative incidents where Yoo Jun was suspected by Hong Seol was revealed to have had another culprit, and that Yoo Jun was not involved. So is Yoo Jun actually not that deceiving? What is his true face?

PLOT TWIST

The next scene shows the cunning side of Yoo Jun. The following scene reveals a phone call from Hong Seol's close friend, wanting to hook up with Yoo Jun. So far, it seems the close friend has a crush on Yoo Jun. 

The next day, during the hookup, Yoo Jun, the close friend, and Hong Seol meet up in the cafeteria. Right after the meeting, Hong Seol is also hooked up for a blind date. The blind date didn't seem to go too well. The man continuously asked questions, and Hong Seol seemed to simply want to escape. During the date, Hong Seol meets a young man for the second time. The first time was by chance, and the man was trying to find directions. It is important to note here that this man is connected with Yoo Jun. Although we do not, at this point, know the entire back story, we can infer that this has something to do with their childhood.

The blind date ends with a negative atmosphere. As a result, Hong Seol leaves and ends up coming across Yoo Jun. Yoo Jun gets angry with Hong Seol for hooking him up with her close friend and claims that she has a motive, just like everyone else. He seems to be quite hurt. Perhaps he is just like everyone else, and not entirely what Hong Seol believed him to be. And maybe he is actually soft on the inside. They depart, again, with a negative feeling.

Meanwhile, the young man who intruded in Hong Seol's blind dates finds Hong Seol's phone, which was accidentally left at the date spot. Apparently, this man is quite nosey and began to look at her private things. Soon enough, he realizes that Hong Seol knows Yoo Jun, and assumes that they are dating. As a surprise, this man, who is revealed as Baek in Ho, calls Yoo Jun. And as we know, Yoo Jun and Hong Seol's relationship evidently has weakened a little. Yoo Jun immediately recognized his voice, showing that they must be close. They meet, and a few things are revealed. 

First off, right from the start, the most evident realization, is that their past relationship was clearly not a joyful one.

Next, the following scenes show a kid, who is thought to be Baek in Ho, being bullied; yet Yoo Jun simply passes by with a calm and composed face. The next words that came out of Yoo Jun's mouth were cruel and cold. So in the end, is what we expected really true after all?
