im gonna give you an actual reason unlike the half assed one i gave last time, honestly what was i thinking lol.
so, many of you will disagree with me on this one because logically these two characters are not compatible at all (mostly because of how they're usually written/portrayed.) but, i believe them to be nice for each other. unlike the cedric and hermione ship their dynamic would be different. the enemies to lovers trope as some authors would say.
think about it, they always had this competitive nature to them, this tension besides the fact that they hated each other, there was always a need to surpass. and for you to have a rival, you have to think of them as your equal in a way.
honestly i dont know where im going with this bro, but envision this for me. one day draco sees that hermione is burning herself out so he does everything he can to distract her from the things stressing her out so he peppers her in small kisses, wrapping his arms around her as she giggles and relaxes into his embrace. or like both of them spending tons of time in the library because they're absolute nErDs, ahh or one of them struggling with a subject and the other one seeing and lowkey teasing them about it but still helping them. im dying omg, if i had the motivation id write this tbh.
anyways, i ship it obviously.
