Isabella's POV

FLASHBACK

"Isabella run!" My brother Niklaus yelled. An arrow quickly shot passed my head as I narrowly missed it, lodging itself in the wall behind me.

I grabbed my little sisters hand. "Come on Rebekah we must go!" I gripped her wrist, dragging her behind me. She struggled against my grip, trying to pull herself back.

"But we have to go back, Izzy! Elijah, Klaus, our brothers! We have to help them!"

I kept my eyes forward as we trudged through the forest, Rebekah was trying very hard to leave my grip but I held onto her too tight. There were probably going to be bruises later but she will heal just as fine.

I could hear the sound of arrows being shot and my brothers fighting behind us. I continued trekking, my mind running crazy.

We were just having a normal dinner when arrows began shooting out of nowhere, men came in from all corners of the house, strapped with vervain dipped daggers and arrows. Although it doesn't hurt as much, it doesn't mean it won't weaken us for a second, which is all they needed.

"Izzy stop!" Rebecca yelled, finally yanking me backwards, putting a stop to our escape.

She looked toward me, fear in her eyes.

"We have to go back." She whispered, pleading me to turn around.

"Klaus told us to-."

"I don't give a damn about what Klaus said!" She yelled, "They are our family Isabella, we have to go back."

I watched as she held my hands, squeezing them tight. She looked at me with so much fear, fear in losing her family. Fear in losing her brothers and the only people we have left in the world.

I closed my eyes, taking in a deep breath before nodding.

We used our vampire speed to race back to the mansion. We arrived in seconds and we could see Elijah standing atop of the balcony, throwing a man off. He saw us emerge from the woods and immediately raced down right infront of us.

"I thought Niklaus told you to leave. It is far to dangerous for you two to be here."

I gripped Rebekah's hand giving it a small squeeze.

"Always and forever right?" Bekah gave me a small squeeze back, looking at Elijah.

Elijah nodded and we went back into the house where there were still at least ten men left.

Finn and Kol were ripping out hearts left and right on the grand staircases while Klaus was happily draining anyone he could get his hands.

"You interrupted our family dinner. How very rude of you." He said menacingly. "I guess you will have to suffice." He sunck his teeth into the man's neck as he screamed beneath him.

I quickly turned around as I heard an arrow coming for me. I gripped it in the air but dropped it immediately, letting out a loud hiss. Not only where the heads drenched in vervain so was the wood.

The man who shot at me continued to shoot as I came closer to him. I dodged almost every shot but managed to get on lodged into my leg. I painfully pulled it out and advanced toward the man.

I gripped him by the throat before throwing him against the wall. Watching as he landed with a thud. Rebekah immediately ran over, snapping his neck. The house fell silent as we all looked around, bodies scattered across the floor. Finn and Kol walked down the two stair cases, Kol running a hand through his hair.
