Feathers Saga: Archangel

Prologue

-open your ears and listen well- 

Rael ordered, as he started to search in a bookshelf full of weird looking books, alas, it seemed he found what he was looking for.
As he took one book out, and proceded to placed it in the table right next to Kenneth.

the book had a antique look to it, Kenneth could tell that the engravings on it were made on golden letters, although the had already started to fade a little, the wine colored leather that covered it made it look really beautiful, and the sheer size of it was just impressive, being it as thick as eight inches by Kenneth's estimate.

-why do i have to listen to it, wouldn't it be better if i just read it myself?- Kenneth inquired.

-because it is written in Enocchian, the lenguaje of angels, not something most people can understand, and i am pretty certain that you don't-

-Right...- Kenneth stayed silent, of course he didn't knew Enocchian, that was the first he ever heard of it.

-Anything else?- Rael questioned.

-let's get this over with- Kenneth exhaled in surrender.

-not the reaction i would like, but as long as you pay attention, it will suffice, for now anyway-

And so, Rael opened the book and started to read:

-at the beginning of time, countless eons ago, there was nothing, all that existed was an endless blank space, quiet,dark, still, unchanging.
It was like that, when he awakened for the first time, he became the very first being in existence.

The one that later would come to be known as El, the first one.

El had no physical form, it was a formless sentient being.

El spent his first few years moving around aimlessly across the emptiness.

Eventually, a feeling of lack started to build inside of him.

Then, something changed, due to his new inner desire, he observed as how a diminute part of himself detached and started to change.
He observed as this energy started to morph, and even though it was no longer part of him.
The particle still changed according to his will.

Él had made his first creation.

He went on to repeat the process an infinite number of times, while experimenting with all sorts of shapes and forms.

Thus giving birth the the first universe.

But among everything that he created, he felt a void, that there was something missing.

Él reflected about his creations, and concluded that the one thing different from them, was himself, having no physical form was the difference.

El changed his own form an infinite number of times, before reaching one he felt comfortable with.

still, the void he felt remained.

As time went by, he pondered about what he had created and what he felt was missing, finally, a revelation came to him.

He was alone.

El had no one to share its creations with.

With that in mind, El decided upon his next creation.

He would create companions.

El decided to create his companions in his image and likeness.

Right there, in the vastness of space, the very two first children of El were born.

The first to open his eyes, from that point on, El's eldest child, was named Lucifer "the bringer of light"

The second child, just as beautiful and bright as his older brother, was named Michael "the power of El"

those were the original names given to them from El himself.

El looked at his children, and was filled with pride.

They both were as beautiful and bright as their father intended.  

And so.

The children would follow El wherever he went, helping him with his creations, while playing and dancing among the starts, bringing joy and laughter to their father.

eventually, after countless years, El stopped to gaze at his creations, and felt that the universe he had created was lacking.

"we have to start over" he told his children.

And so they did, El erased everything that he had created, with the exception of his children.

And the began to build again, always.

The process would be repeated over and over again, countless times, making creation even more beautiful each time.

Until, one day, El looked back at creation, and finally, was contempt with the latest version of what he and his children had created together.

"we will now create a place for us to dwell in" El told them.

After some consideration, a little planet on the edge of one of the many galaxies was chosen.

a sparkling blue marvel in the sea of lights that formed the universe.

that planet is the one that much later, would come to be known as "earth".
