He watched as Hong Kong smirked and stood up, saying, "Well he's never caused me any problems, and he's been decently nice so he's cool. I'm going to chill with Iceland." China sighed in relief and watched as Hong Kong left the house.
"I guess I've never really met him dah-ze, but he seems fine dah-ze." China nodded as Japan said "I'm decentry indifferent, just honestry a rittre scared of him." China gulped and quietly said "Well he'll be moving in with us, aru."
Japan's eyes widened slightly and South Korea looked mildly shocked. "Uh, why dah-ze?" China sighed and said "Very very long story. I'm tired, I promise I'll tell you more tomorrow aru." They nodded and China went upstairs and passed out on his bed.
Russia and China both had interesting dreams that night.
In China's dream he saw the little boy he had seen when he had touched his hand to the hole in Russia's chest. The boy lied in the snow and sobbed, cold, and alone. China looked down at himself and realized that he wasn't cold and his body appeared to be glowing. He moved over to the boy and softly picked him up out of the snow.
"Oh Russia..." China muttered weakly and held the boy to his chest, walking through the snow, Russia curling into his glowing chest. He soon saw lights and smoke and moved forward soon noticing Russia's mansion yet it was...brighter. The lights were all on and smoke was curling from the chimney. He softly knocked at the door and saw what appeared to be a teenage Ukraine open it, looking frantic and stains of tears ran down her face.
She gasped at the boy in China's arms and said "Oh my goodness thank you! Spasibo, Spasibo, I looked for him everywhere, but then this dreadful blizzard hit and I couldn't look anymore oh thank you for returning him sir." China smiled and handed Russia to her before saying, "it's China, aru, you don't have to call me sir."
Ukraine looked at him, confused, but then said "Oh, da, I knew you looked familiar, yet you've changed a little bit. You can come in out of this blizzard if you'd like!" China just shook his head and said "I'll see you Ukraine." She nodded and he watched as the scene dissolved and he began to wake up.
in Russia's dream he saw China sobbing on the floor of a much older styled asian home and he could still see Japan walking along the road. "He moved to the Chinese man and sat next to him before picking him up and holding him in his lap. "h-huh?" The chinese man questioned through sobs but soon relaxed and curled into Russia's chest. "Why would he l-leave me, aru" China sobbed and clutched onto Russia's trench coat.
Russia frowned and muttered "I don't know China. He just wanted to be his own country." China continued to cry and said "I-I don't want him to go" Russia nodded and said "I know, I know, it's okay, he'll..he'll be back, you guys will make up."
Russia remembered the day that Japan and China mended their relationship with each other and Japan moved back in. "Really, aru?" China questioned wiping his eyes. "Da." Russia responded and soon watched as the world began to evaporate.
Now you'd think that China would be used to the unexpected.
Maybe that he'd learn not to expect things.
Yet it was still a suprise for him when he awoke in Russia's bed, with Russia next to him fast asleep. He almost yelped but didn't want to wake him so he just stared in confusion. He soon just watched the Russian sleep. He felt kind of creepy but he was so much more...vulnerable when he slept. He had an air of true innocence that he didn't have normally with his childish smile.
China just sighed and turned to his side of the bed, seeing a table. On it was a bottle of vodka, a stained glass lamp and a book about Russian history. He picked up the book and slowly began to read. It had been only about 30 minutes since China woke up when he heard Russia gasp. China put the book down and said "Yeah aru. I was confused too." Russia suddenly groaned and muttered, "Yeah, should've remembered, we can't be apart for two long or my soul-"
he said, lightly placing his hand on China's chest, "-will, lets just say, will us together." China shrugged a little and said "Good thing you're moving in today then, aru. Come on. I'll help you pack." Russia nodded and stood up revealing that he was wearing his scarf, pajama pants, and no shirt. "I'm gonna take a shower, you can eat, the kitchen's down two floors, it's huge, you can't miss it." Russia said and yawned walking out of the room.
China nodded and walked into the hallway soon finding an elevator. A goddamn elevator in the house?! China just shrugged and got on, going two floors down realizing he was on the 6th floor. Once on the 4th floor he realized that Russia was not kidding about not being able to miss the kitchen.
It was absolutely gigantic. There were 10 burners on the stove and 3 fridges and there was a huge amount of counter space. He blinked and muttered a soft "woah...". At this word he heard a light gasp and turned to see a what appeared to be about 13 or 14 year old boy with messy blonde hair, blue eyes, and a dark red uniform.
"Oh h-hello sir.." The boy said cautiously. "Ni hao, you are?" china asked the teenage looking boy " Oh i-i'm Latvia, that was chinese, so you must be ch-china" China nodded and Latvia said "Are you here for business?" China laughed and shook his head and said "Russia will explain later, I really can't, where do you keep your cereal?" The boy nodded and opened one of the 20 cabinets.
China smiled and poured himself a bowl of corn flakes and sat at the giant dining table truly wondering what his future would hold.
