Tony's POV:
I watched as my boss and Probie walked off into the distance.
wow, I had got alot of grief for that one.
I was starting to worry,
It wasn't like ziva to walk off without telling anyone.
I looked at my surroundings taking in the view carefully for any signs of the Israeli.
I looked at the cliff edge were we had found our petty officer,
I had tried to avoid it but something seemed off.
I walked slowly towards the edge and noticed a large piece of the side of the cliff had been crumpled,
I swear that wasn't there Before?
A sudden realization of what could of happened to ziva hit me,
I started to panic,
Ziva couldn't be dead!
not my ziva,
my bestfriend,
my ninja,
my partner,
my rock.
"TONY!" I heard a faint yell,
I looked up and listened for another sign of life.
I must be imagining things again but I swear that was zivas voice.
"TONY! GIBBS! MCGEE!" Screamed a now clearer voice,
"ZIVA" I yelled back and hurried to the edge, Suddenly feeling overwhelmed with happiness and fear.
I looked down to see my ninja, hanging on for dear life about 20 metres down.
"Ziva!" I shout again,
She looks up and I can see her face is bloody, she must of smashed into the rocks.
"Tony! Help!" She screams again, "I can't last much longer!"
"hang on!" I yell, I grab my phone and dial Gibbs.
"DiNozzo?"
"Gibbs I found ziva!"
"Is she alright!"
"No! She's hanging onto a cliff!"
"What?"
"She fell over the side of the cliff."
"how far down?"
"Bout' 20 metres boss."
"hold on tight. Be there in 15"
and with that he hung up.
Zivas POV:
My hands felt sweaty,
and I felt my arms starting to burn.
"Ziva, I called Gibbs! He said to stay put for 10 minutes." Shouted tony,
Great. I can't hold for that long.
"I can't." I shout back,
As those words come out the rock breaks and I fall down a few more metres before clinging onto a tree root that has grown out of the cliff side.
"ZIVA!" Screams tony
"I'm fine!" I yell back, even though my arm is throbbing in awful pain and I'm loosing way to much blood.
"I'm coming to get you." He yells back
"No! It's too dangerous!" I scream,
I don't want him getting hurt.
I hear a car start and then silence.
about 5 minutes later, I see a car pull up on a lower cliff edge, about 10 metres away from me.
"Ziva!" Shouts tony from the ledge,
"Tony. I'm here!" I yell back
"Try to climb accross zi! Like rock climbing."
"Only if I fall, I die." I mumble and then take a step before loosing my footing and clutching onto another rock.
I grumble and try again,
I'm now sweating and bleeding and progressively becoming weaker.
"I can't!" I yell, letting a cry of pain out.
I rest my head on the rocks and then hear tony speak again, only he sounds closer.
I spin my head around to see him standing a few metres away,
he is clinging onto rocks in a similar way to me, only he is on a ledge.
"Tony, go back! You can't get hurt!" I yell at him
"I'm not letting you die." He says sincerely "grab my hand zi!" He adds,
He is holding out his hand,
I will have to jump.
it's now or never.
I cling onto his hand and I jump onto the ledge, clinging tightly to the wall.
I look up to see tony gripping tightly onto me with one arm, the other holding Onto the wall still.
"Thankyou." I whisper
"no problem." He smiles that charming smile.
Tony's POV:
I stood on a small ledge on the side of a cliff with my partner,
Very movie-ish.
"hey." I say, tucking a strand of hair out of her face. "I got ya." I smile, reassuringly.
she gives a weak smile before letting her self rest.
I look down to see her close her eyes tiredly,
I forgot she was injured.
"Zi! We have to go." I said nodding towards the land a few metres away.
she nods and I usher her forward,
"Tony? Can you go first?" she asks softly
"what happened to ladies first?" I laugh jokingly
she gave a weak smile,
I clutched the rocks and maneuvered my way accross the wall,
My feet resting on whatever rocks were stable enough.
I slipped on a rock but felt an arm pulling me back up into a balanced position.
I give ziva a smile before continuing on.
I reach the tip of the cliff and stumble onto the flat surface.
thank god that is over.
I turns to see ziva pulling herself up onto the ledge,
she slips and I quickly lean down and grab both of her arms,
lifting her up and helping her stand on the surface.
she bounds forward and hugs me,
"thankyou tony." She says sincerely
"prego." I say, lifting her face up with my fingers so I can look into her beautiful eyes.
"tony.." she starts,
I interrupt her by giving her a kiss,
she hesitates but then accepts it,
Snaking her arms around my neck.
we hear cars pulling up and I pull away. i look up to see ambulances and i wrap my arms protectively around her middle, giving her a hug.
we pull away when Gibbs comes up to us,
he gives ziva a hug and looks at me with that Gibbs stare.
"for once, good job DiNozzo." He gave ziva a peck on the cheek and walked away.
the paramedics walked towards us,
I have zivas hand a reassuring squeeze before leaving to head back to base.
