I bare the burden of a thousand men

God please forgive me if I sin

I am as strong as a gust of wind

Please give me one reason why they did what they did

I'm not the sweetest it's not hard to believe it

But God we both know I'd give my life if needed

So tell me why I'm treated like you wouldn't believe 

I give my all just to make them happy 

Would spend my last dime just to keep them happy

You gave me a heart filled with gold is that why its so heavy?

God please give me strength so I can stand steady

I go through all this and they say i have no patience 

But you and I both know my patience is filled with greatness

I have patience they just cant perceive it so when i say it they don't believe it

I'm in chains you just cant see it

Been held down for all these years and still fighting a battle for my freedom.
