Darkness. That's all that was visible to Erin in this moment. Of course she was afraid, but Erin being the stubborn teenage girl she was, would never admit it.

She was freezing. She rubs her arms hoping to warm herself. Erin was trying desperately to remember how she got here but she couldn't.

She was too busy going mental just trying to figure out how she got here that she didn't even realize the box stop moving.

Suddenly bright light blinded her vision. Before she knew what was happening someone was in the box with her.

"Bloody hell..." The boys voice breathed. He could be no older than 17.

"Well, what is it?" Another boys voice shouted.

"It's...It's a girl." He says in a questioning tone.

Erin rubs her head and groans. "What the hell just happened?"

She looks up at the boy. He had caramel hair and brown eyes. He sticks his hand out.

Erin rejects his offer and pushes herself of the ground. "Where the hell am I?"

"Welcome to the glade, shuckface!" A distant voice yelled.

"Wh-what are you looking at?"

Erin yells at all the staring boys.

"You act like you've never seen a girl before." She pushes through the crowd of boys and makes her way to the tall stone walls at the edge of the 'glade.'

"What are these here for?" She questions. "Out there, that's the maze." The boy from before says.

"The names Newt." He sticks his hand out waiting for contact.

The bewildered girl hesitantly put her hand in his large one. "Erin..." she replied.

"I'm Chuck." A chubby kid with curly hair came up to Newt and Erin.

"Hi Chuck." Erin smiles a toothless smile. "How old are you?"

Suddenly, his smile fades. "I-I don't know..." he whispers.

"What do you mean you don't know?" She asks.

"You heard him. He doesn't know! None of us do!" A tall boy with, not to sound rude, crazy eyebrows snips.

"Gally," Newt begins. "Calm down, she doesn't know about this place."

Gallup rolls his eyes and stomps away. "What's his problem?" Erin asks pointing at the boy in the distance.

Newt waves him off. "Don't listen to him." He laughs.

"But you see, none of us know our ages. WICKED wiped our memories. Can you remember your name?" The boy asks.

Questions flooded Erin's mind. What was WICKED? Why does no one remember their age? But, she couldn't remember her age.

No matter how hard she tried she couldn't remember.

She looked up at Newt and swallowed hard. She answered his question.

"I do-don't know."
