In the dead of night in New York, one girl walks alone. Her dark blonde hair stands out, along with her sparkly blue eyes and pale skinned hour glass figure. She has shades on, along with a black short strapless jumpsuit and black pumps.
No one knows how powerful she truly is. No one knows she is the queen of cats, the highest in authority, when it comes to animals. She walks fiercely to a gated zoo and quickly climbs over the tall gate. Her inner cat is more frightening than herself, a tiger.
She slips quietly towards a lion cage, carefully tapping on it, to get the big cat's attention. Delgado, the lion, paces forward,quickly and quietly.
"Gwen, you can't just sneek in here whenever you feel like it. You are gonna get caught sooner or later." Delgado meows annoyed at me.
"Delgado, listen to me. I believe I know where Nani is." I said, and Delgado stiffened and growled lowly. Nani was Dalgado's and I's best friend, and she was part cheetah.
She had brown skin with green eyes, and wavy dark brown hair to her shoulders. When Nani was taken to a secret laboratory, seven months ago, we thought we would never see her again.
Until now. " I smelled Nani's scent when I went by the maire's office. I decided to take a further look that night. I didn't think I found anything, until I smelled her scent again. I followed it, and it took me to a counter with lots of liquids. Nani's blood was in one of those liquid bottles! What is she is still alive? What have they down to her!" I said while tears crept into my eyes.
Delgado shape shifted, and put on jeans, a white t-shirt and white sneakers from a backpack hidden in his cage. Delgado slipped silently out of the cage, and came to my side.
"Gwen, none of this is your fault. You couldn't have prevented it." He said squatting in front of me.
I looked up at him, and he gave his famous reasurring smile, and then a playful nudge on the arm.
"Come on, they are gonna be missing a lion for a while." He says while we run out of the zoo, and back to my underground home.
