"Lillian! Are you ready yet?" My best friend, Shaylene, yelled from outside my bathroom door.

I sighed and looked at myself in the mirror. Even though it was my 18th birthday I wasn't feeling the whole 'lets go out and drink because you legal now' vibe. I would be perfectly happy just staying in and watching a film. I looked down at myself in disgust. I wasn't much for showing off my body but this skin tight dress Shay gotten me was just that. Once I was ready we were going to pick up Charlotte, Trey, and Maggie then we were going to a pub I'd forgotten the name of. I closed my eyes and nodded. I looked in the mirror and put the final touches to my very nude colored makeup. I walked out of the bathroom to see a shocked Shay.

"Damn, see I knew that dress would look amazing on you. You've got the ass for it. It makes your boobs look amazing too." Shay said with a wink. Yes, Shay is straight.

"Shut up, I'm very uncomfortable. Let's just go get the other girls and head to the pub. Please?" I asked pleadingly.

"Of course babe. Come on. You do look amazing, you shouldn't wear those to big of sweaters to hide what you have babe."

I just nodded and we walked down the stairs to see my dad sitting here. He looked at me and looked very uncomfortable. I know how you feel daddy-o.

"We'll be back soon." I told him.

"You're 18 now Lilly. Don't need to tell me when you'll be back as look as you come back within the week. Happy Birthday sweetheart." He replied getting up and kissing my cheek. I smiled at him and nodded.

Shay and I started toward the door only to be stopped by my step mother.

"Lils! Can I get a picture of you two? Please!" I giggled at her and nodded.

Me and Shay look at her and as I smiled Shay kissed my cheek. We stood like that until the flash went off. Shay laughed as Charli said she was going to put that on Facebook. I guess I have a new profile picture. I hugged Charli goodbye kissing her cheek and walked out the door with Shay. We both got into her car and buckled up.

"Before we take off, I want to have one more thing that would go perfectly with that dress." Shay said.

I looked at her very confused because she said she had only gotten the dress for me. I got shocked when she pulled off her necklace and gave it to me. She always wore that necklace and she would never tell me why. I slowly put the necklace on and smiled at her.

"Thank you Shay, I promise I'll give it back to you tomorrow because I feel you're going to get completely wasted tonight." I said to her earning myself a laugh.

"To be honest, probably."

"I've never drank before Shay. What if I don't like it?"

"Well, you may not like beer, but we're going to be doing shots the majority of the night so you'll be fine. If you don't like those though we'll find something else for you to drink. Could give you cinnamon whiskey."

"Shay, like I know what that is." She laughed as she pulled up to Treys and honked the horn. The girls walked out all in their dresses and climbed into the car.

"Happy birthday Lilly!" They all shouted as the got settled. I laughed at them.

"Thanks guys." I replied.

The whole way to the pub we all talked, sang, and laughed with or at each other. Char and I started slapping each other at one point for no apparent reason. Once we pulled up, I see an extremely long long with lots of impatient people. We all step out and I notice the pubs called Johnny's. Shay walked up to the doorman guy and said some stuff to him. He smiled at her and nodded letting us in.

"Happy birthday babe." He said to me. I smiled and nodded.

The girls all immediately pulled me to the bar and ordered some type of drinks. I rolled my eyes and look around the pub at all the people dancing and grinding on each other. I frowned upon seeing a very very much older guy smirking at me. I quickly looked at my friends again just as the drinks got to us. Shay handed everyone including me a tiny glass and I looked at her confused.

"Just tip your head back and swallow." I nodded and we all did it at the same time.

They all looked at me expectantly afterwards. I pulled a face from the bitterness causing Trey to laugh.

"Let's go another one!" I said over the music and they all cheered.

I giggled at my friends, looking around the semi-crowded pub.

That's when I saw him.

Probably the most perfect human on the face of the earth. He was laughing with his friends. His smile is almost to die for. He looked my way and locked eyes with me. His eyes looked to be blue from what I could see but with bad lighting I couldn't be sure. I watched as he winked at me and smile. I felt on top of the world..

But that night.. That one night.. My life changed completely.
