This is the first day back at the dojo, we had all weekend off and since Kim got back on Thursday it's been three days since the whole hotel phone call.
I am at my locker when I hear laughing. I turn around and it's Kim and her new "friend".
"Jack" she says looking at me awkwardly
"Kim" I say looking her in the eyes
" Jack" she says again
"Whoooo" jerry yells walking in
"Really jerry" Kim says
"You know it mommacita"
Rudy walks out of his office now wearing his Gi and black belt.
"Warriors" he says
"We have a new addition, all the way from Japan, so everyone please welcome Xai (pronounced tie)" Rudy tells us all
"Xai is my great friend who helped me decide to come back to the wasabi warriors" Kim says
"Thanks so much, Xai" I say rudely
"Jack" Kim scolds
"I'm sorry but why did he have to come too" I say
"Because he's my friend"
"Suree" I say
"Jack let's talk about this somewhere else" she says dragging me into the women's restroom.
"What is your deal" she says
"I don't have one" I tell her
"Jack be serious"
"Fine, when you left I was heartbroken and I waited for you... and you come back with some ... some guy"
"Jack, we"re just friends, Xai and I" she pleads
"Then what was with the arm over you in the airport" I asked
"You were spying on us .. jack why" she says
"Because I freaking love you" I say
She is silent and finally I just leave
"Can we please focus on the arts now" Rudy says
"Yeah man" I say
"Alright so Jack and Xai, you'll spar first"
Kim just stands thee speechless, obviously having no idea how to deal with my proclamation.
I want to believe her, that Xai and her are just friends but something inside my mind tells me that he doesn't feel the same way.
We all spar, Xai and I, Milton and Jerry, and Kim has disappeared.

After class I walk out of the dojo and see Kim standing there waiting for me. She looks me in the eyes and says something to me, the thing I've always wanted to hear come from my Kimmys mouth.
"Jack" she says
"I never did forget my first love"

So that's the end, once again kinda short but hey. Shorter chapters means more updates. And I hate dragging a chapter on and on so might as well end it while it's good then drag it on and make it less than it has the potential to be. Ciao for now ❤️
