 PROLOGUE

“Look, I don’t like you.”

“I don’t like you either.”

My brows pulled together. Simple logic. But, “So why did you pick me?”

His lips suddenly curved into one of those smiles that could melt any girl’s heart. His chocolate-kissed hair danced as the wind softly blew it. His deep, blue eyes settled into mine, “Because I’m sure I won’t fall in-love with you.”

Of course he should be sure of that. After all, my role is not permanent. But isn’t it unfair? He’s the only one sure about it.

Because in my part, it’s hard. It’s hard when I fell inlove with someone who just thinks of me as a temporary replacement. Sheesh, can it get more cruel than this?
