She closed her eyes painfully
Knowing what was to come
She had felt it before
She was scared of the feeling
She had felt it many times
But she couldn't run
Her feet wouldn't move her
Like heavy metal on the floor
Holding her in place
She knew she had to do it
Although she was scared
There was no running for her
With a small smile grazing her lips, thick tears fell down her face "here it comes again"
She braced herself to be lost again
She tightly closed her eyes
Waiting for it to come for her
It was in a way a gift
She could see what was to come
She could see the future
She could warn all of them
She became something important, something different whenever it came
Oh it was beautiful
It was magical
It was wonderful
But it was painful
It was scarry and heavy
She closed her eyes again
As it came again
This was why she had lost her best friend
The reason why the guy she loved walked away
He said it scared him
He said he couldn't be what she wanted
But it was all a lie
He was all that she needed
He was only scared
He just couldn't take it too
It was so easy for him to walk away
But it wasn't so easy for her to run
It wasn't so simple for her to walk away as it was for him
And that somehow made her envy him
She envied him for walking away so easily
How she had wished to be like him
To walk away so easily
The girl had to it
Although it killed her
Although she missed and loved him
She had to kill her heart
With every step she took
Her heart broke a little
Until she turned around fully
Her heart dying fully
She had to sacrifice it all for it
Her biggest enemy
Her best gift
