Gone

Sometimes I get so lost
within myself
I wonder who
will save me
Drowning in the
tears I've cried
I can't wait
for the day
when it's over
Surrounded by people
my screams go unheard
Nobody listens
and nobody cares
No one to save me
I'm lost and
I'm scared
When will you
hear me?
When will you
see me?
Perhaps never
because the countdown
is near
And I'll be free
to fly away
from the pain
and the fear
I will finally be happy.
