Izuna POV:
I groaned and cuddled more into the pillow as I heard continuous bangs on the door.
Grunting loudly I threw the sheets away from my body and walked over to the door.
I opened it to be invited by a ghost.
My eyebrows furrowed in confusion when I saw no one there but they widened at the realization that the banging is coming from the window.
What nonsense is this? Who the hell bangs at someone's window at midnight.
Leaving the door open I walked over to the window.
I removed the curtains and the sight made my confusion greater.
"Eden", What is she doing in here and at this time?
To get some answers I opened the window to be invited by an extremely unpleasant sight.
My heart squeezed seeing her all bruised and bleeding.
"Oh my god, Eden." My panicked tone greeted her as I jumped out of the window.
Carefully not to hurt her, I picked her up in my arms and went inside the house.
No way I can go in through the window. My door was already open coz I forgot to close it.
She had gotten numb in my arms.
I kicked open the door and placed her gently on the bed.
The questions are for later, first I need to tend her.
I disappeared into the bathroom and came out a while later carrying a bowl full of warm water and a white towel and placed it on the night stand. I grabbed my medical kit from the cupboard.
Letting out a hesitant breath I caught the color of her kimono in my hand. "May I?" I asked for her permission.
Her dry eyes met with mine as she gave a simple nod.
Not even for once I bothered to look down at her body when I removed her Kimono. But in order to tend her, I needed to. I moved my eyes slowly down her body.
Anger and undeniable pain rushed through each and every vein of my body. Her body was severely bruised, there were cuts and her panties were all torn up.
There was no need for her to tell me anything. I could already analyse whatever happened with her. Since there was no blood running down in between her thighs I can assume that nothing happened much far. But still someone tried to rape her and that is a very severe crime.
I will make that person pay for it very badly. He will regret the day he laid his eyes on her.
Slowly and gently I took care of her wounds making sure not to hurt her in the process. After attending them and wrapping her in bandages, I grabbed a Kimono of mine and dressed her up in that.
"Who?" That was the only word which came out of my mouth but that was the only thing which was needed.
"Yuri", she replied in a hateful tone looking down in shame.
That bastard..!!
He will pay. But first I need to make sure that Eden is fine before going down to hunt him. I pushed her lightly on the bed and pulled up the covers.
She took my hand and sandwich it between both of hers, squeezing it, not at all willing to let go, as if afraid to do so.
Several pleasant shivers ran down my spine at that intimate contact. My eyes tainted on our connected hands just wondering how perfectly our hands fit.
