Christmas!

Lucy POV

"Natsu! Did you forget about the party?!" I swear if this idiot forgot, I'm going to slap him so hard he'll forget his name!

"No! I just need to...umm, get everyone a gift!" He scratched the back of his head. W-wait! I need to get gifts too! Shoot!

"Oh! Me too! Let's go before the party starts!" I grabbed his hand and dragged him towards the mall. The first place I went was to get Erza a cake. Preferably strawberry. 

"H-hey I need to go get um... Gray a gift see ya!" Why is he getting a present for Gray? Doesn't he hate him? Oh Whatever.

I walked down towards my meeting place with Natsu one we had everything. I saw him leaning on a stone wall by the doors.

"How long have you been waiting?" 

"Oh I don't know, 20 minutes."

"Why didn't you call me or like come see where I was at?!"

"I know you were going to be held up looking at all the books, trying to find out which one Levy would have wanted." Wow, he hit the bullseye.

"Excuse me Ma'am. Would you like to purchase one of our exclusive Celestial charm bracelets?" A man from the jewelry store  asked.

"Woah!" I stared at all the little keys on the bracelet. I want this so bad, but I'm afraid that I have no money.

"Sorry sir, but I have no money." I sighed.

"Doesn't your boyfriend want to buy it for you?"

"W-we aren't d-dating." I said nervously. All of my friends knew I had a huge crush on him. That will never happen though. He is one of the most popular guys at school. Every girl falls for his dashing looks, and blinding smile.

"Hey Luce why are you looking at me?" He asked waving a hand in front of my face.

"Uh, I was just thinking. Hey! We need to get to the party!"

"G-go meet me in the car I need to go to the restroom real quick."

"Kay, don't take too long."

Natsu POV

Good I tricked her. Now, to get that bracelet...

Lucy POV

I saw Natsu running towards the car.

"What took you so long! Hurry! It starts in like ten minutes!"

"Ok,ok I'm going."

"Lucy you late." Erza gave me a death glare."

"S-sorry! I had to pick out your gift!" She calmed down after my comment.

"Well, let's party!"

Once I entered, I saw everyone sitting next to each other. Levy, and Gajeel, Juvia, and Gray, Elfman, and Evergreen, Wendy, and Romeo.

If I sit by anyone else, I will be a third wheel...

"Hey Luce! Wanna sit by me?" He smiled.

"What about me Natsu? That brat doesn't hold a candle to me!"

I turned to see Lisanna holding Natsu's arm. What did she say about me?

"Lisanna, that's not nice to say..." He said to her trying to get Lisanna off his arm.

"It's ok, she probably didn't mean it..." I turned to the group of people all around the room talking with their special someone. I sighed and went to find something to drink.

I entered the kitchen and slumped down on a bar stool. 'This sucks, every time I have the chance to spend time with Natsu, Lisanna interrupts.' Wait didn't Natsu ask me to sit by him? My cheeks turned as red as a cherry. 'D-does h-he actually like m-me?!'

I slapped myself. 'Get that out of your head! Natsu is you friend, nothing more. And he never will be.

"Luce, what are you doing alone?" I looked up to see Natsu leaning against the door frame.

"U-uh I was getting a...a...drink! Yeah!" I wand over to the fridge and quickly grabbed a bottle of water.

"Well, come on! We're exchanging gifts!" He smiled , grabbed my arm, and ran into the livingroom.

"There you are Lucy! Your presents are in a pile over there." Levy pointed at a little pile of boxes.

I smiled and sat with everyone in a circle. We went around opening our presents one at a time. We were down to the last few gifts. The people who were left was Natsu, Lisanna, and me.

Natsu had gotten a bottle of his favorite. You guessed it! Sriracha sauce. Lisanna got a cute heart necklace. I was about to open it when a shadow came from above my head.

I was afraid to look up, and if I did, I would see mistletoe. All the girls squealed in happiness, as for Lisanna, well she stormed out of the room.

My face was flushed with red. I looked over to my right to see Natsu blushing as well.

"W-well...it's not like it'll kill us."

"Y-yeah..." I turned to him and was surprised by his lips on mine. It was a quick kiss, but I wanted it to last longer.

"Merry Christmas Luce." Natsu smiled. A beautiful bracelet sat carefully in a small box.

"Love ya!" I smiled at his sentence, and put on the bracelet.

"I love you too..."

"Natsu."
