A Play

Lucy Pov

I walked into my theatre class ready for the play we are performing today. We are acting out a small romance scene today. And I heard another student transfer to this class. I wonder who it is?

"Ok class, today I'm assigning roles. Oh! and also I have a transfer, come on out." A pink headed idiot walked out on the stage by our teacher. My mouth was wide open staring at him.

"I'm Natsu Dragneel, and I don't want to do this." His hands were in his pockets when the teacher slapped the back of his head. He jumped off the stage and walked towards me.

"Why are you here? I didn't know you liked this class." I looked up at him.

"I don't, I got in trouble and this is my punishment." He said with a straight face. 

"Miss Heartfillia, Mr. Dragneel, I suggest you stop talking." 

"Sorry Miss Mira." We both said in synch.

"I was in Art, but now she made me move to this dumb class."

"Tsk, what did you do this time." I crossed my hands over my chest.

"I beat Gray in a fight. Twice. Gramps had nothing else for me to do so he changed my favorite classes." He sighed.

"Ha, serves you right." I snicked.

"Hey! What's that supposed to-"

"Natsu! Lucy! I warned you once! Now, since you two are so confident in talking during my class, you two can have the lead roles." She smirked. Wa-wait, this is a romance play. W-with N-Natsu as the l-lead. My face turned red just thinking about it.

"Ok, whatever, I'm cool with that." Natsu commented.

"Great, get up there and perform." Miss Mira said.

Natsu walked up towards the stage looking back to see if I was coming.

"Hey Luce, you comin'?" I nod and slowly walk up to the stage. I walk up the steps wasting as much time as possible. Although we just started class.

I was facing Natsu blushing at our closeness. I was confused on what we were performing.

"Your beauty compares to a flower in the midst of spring. A flower in thy field of daisies. You are the rose, your beauty outshines the white petals of the rest." I blushed at what Natsu had said.

"Y-you are my knight in shining armor, c-constantly saving me from trouble." The class laughed at my comment, and Natsu smirked.

"Having you in my life is a beautiful feeling, you make me feel special, your smile, your beautiful face, kind personality, and sometimes-" He was cut off by a push from Miss Mira. Next thing I knew, my lips were in contact with Natsu. 

My eyes were wide, and my cheeks were red. Although Natsu's cheeks were a little pink as he relaxed. I wrapped my arm around his neck pulling him closer to me. He slipped his hands down to my waist. Our kiss ended with us gasping for air.

"Well, that was a great play!" Natsu winked, with a thumbs up. I punched his shoulder lightly. Suddenly the whole class erupted into cheers. I suddenly remembered that we kissed in front of my class.

"I would do it again..." I mumbled, hoping he wouldn't hear me. I saw a smirk appear on his face. Oh crap, he heard me. He slammed his lips back down on mine. I returned his actions.

Ever since that day, Natsu and I have loved each other. Miss Mira just helped us realize it!
