Chapter 1: Alone

GUYS. This isnt my first book, my others are on my old account Doctor_Fgt

Its hard to sleep when all you can hear is breathing that isnt yours, and you know for a fact youre home alone.
I dont doubt the shadows can speak, hell if they kill.. they might aswell drag me under. Death is a bittersweet taste that would fix all my cravings.

~~flashback~~

"Carly!!!! Wait for me! Mother will be mad if we arent together!" I hear my sister calling after me. Its hard to distinguish where she is. I was so scared, id never ran into the forest this far. Doesnt help that our house is completely surrounded by it. I continue to run and its getting dark outside.

I trip over a branch and i hear a growling noise. I start walking slowly, i dont know why it just iintrigued me.. i see something move in the corner of my eye "alex? Is that you? Im not playing like this come out" i call. The shadow moves closer, my glasses broke when i fell, i cant make out what it is.. i walk a few steps back, when i realize it isnt Alex.

The shadow reaches its hands towards me and screeches, i turn around and run right into Alex and i had started crying.
"Whats wrong Carly?"

I just look at her, horror stricken and shaking..
