An: ok so guys this is my first story so I dunno how it will go but whatever happens id love the support of you guys because who else would I be writing this for (apart from me), iv never done this type of story before I'm not going to give away what type it is yet but anyway...I'm going stop blabbering and get a chapter done, sound good? Yes?! YES!!! Ok we shall begin..
Chapter 1- Time
Time. What the hell is it for? Iv asked myself this question over and over as I stare blankly at the cold night sky. Am I the only one who wishes I could just go back by a few hours and do something different? You're probably wondering why I want to just take back those small, yet precious, hours. Well I'll tell you now but I might need to start from the beginning before I get to that part...;)
Chapter 2- The girl
It all started when I met her, that girl with the green cat like eyes and the copper hair. I never should have introduced myself to her, should have know that IT would happen.Again.
She was hanging around the fiction section of the library, scanning the books, looking for something. I watched as she bite her lip whilst deciding whether she wanted that popular book or the one her friend recommended. "Personally I think this book would be better out of these two" I said picking out the book her friend had recommended and handed it to her smiling helpfully. "Have you read it?" She asked me questioning my knowledge to see if I was really interested in the book or her. I won't lie but I was interested in both.
"Of course, why else would I say it's better" I replied grinning, handing the book to her. I kinda wish I had some breath spray or something because I think she was making faces as I spoke. I took a small step back trying to give her a bit of space and was about to turn away when she asked me "what's your name?"
A faint smile spread across my face without me noticing before I replied "I'm Aiden, and you are?"
"Marina, my names Marina if you must know" she replied with a half smile on her lips as she looked down, at the book she was holding nervously, then back up at me. She wasn't as confident as before and seemed to be fiddling with her hair, pushing her fringe out the way. She looked up at me with those perfect eyes. I could see my reflection but I could also see something else, was it curiosity? Was it something else?
I still don't know what it was, I've got a few ideas but I'll never know the truth.
Anyway let me continue...
"Marina" I said out loud testing the words, it felt new to my lips but some how as if the word was made just for me to use, just me. "It's a nice name" I stated giving her a wink before swiftly turning away. With a quick glance back, I headed to the library's desk. As I left I saw her expression turn into a bit of a gasp but with out the sharp sound you usually hear, her eyes widened as if shocked that I'd leave so suddenly. I would have loved to talk more, there was something about her that made me...want to stay forever but I had a job to do. It made me smile at how attached she had become within only a small amount of time, it was then I knew she was different.
