Chapter 13

Kaylee POV
"GET OUT" Max yelled.
Flashback
I knew something was up. I was sitting in my room bothering no one until she walked in. It's been 5 weeks since my mom and dad passed and my brother started dating that witch Constance.

She's making my life living hell. I'm alone with my brother for 5 minutes and she shows up.

I want to tell my brother that she was the one who bullied me but when I try to she shows up or she threatens to kill Maisie and Ryan.
Jake is blind. I don't see what he sees in her.

Flashback over
That's why I'm in this hell house now. Stuck with a boy who I like and only met just last night.

"I'm not leaving you stupid little boy"Constance said.max looked down like he was about to cry.

I wish this would be all over with. Go back to when my parents were alive. "And you. If you don't give me that phone now that will be the end of you"

I looked at the phone and at her. I ended the call and threw it at her."Good now boys take her to the other room" Jason and Weston walked in and grabbed my arms and

I started kicking and screaming. "SHUT UP YOU LITTLE SLUT!" Was the last thing I heard before seeing darkness.

Max's POV
They took her. She was screaming and crying and I just sat there. I want to get out of here. I hope Kaylee is ok.

I like her and it would kill me if something happened to her.I was knocked out of my thoughts when I heard that Constance girl leave and lock the door.

I got out of the floor and looked in the mirror and saw myself with tear stained cheeks. I looked at the window and unlatched the window.

I opened the window and climbed out. I ran down the street as fast as I could to the police station and when I got there  I saw my parents and siblings. This is it. I'm saved and soon so will Kaylee.

I guess we know what the deal is with Constance and Kaylee. Hopefully in the next few chapters Kaylee and Max will find out they both like each other. ~Mikaela 💘
