My name is Rin.

Me and a few friends run a business. A modelling website to be exact.

Me along with Nellie model the girls clothes.

Ren and Nal model gender neutral clothing

And Rob and Neil model the men's.

Today the group is doing  huge reveal video and I'm in my dressing room with all the models on our site fashion4teens.com. It's exciting a huge step in our careers.

"Ready models... we are doing a large dance number it will require a decent amount of coordination and we want to have a few takes a possible to keep the cost low"

We are in the studio we hire to do our shoots. We are in a brightly lit white room with mirrors we have to see our costumes are done right. I put on my makeup. This time the makeup had to be as androgynous as possible for this shoot. Not too hard I'm used to doing it this way.

I walk out to find Nellie standing in front of me. WE both have light colored sundresses on hers is light green like the color of freshly squeezed lime juice with a hint of lemon. Mine was blue like the icing on a 'it's a boy cake'. We both had dark black flowers on our dresses. Well with Nellie hers was mostly black flowers while mine was mostly blue in order to deviate our dresses a little. Plus they were different patterns hers with long sleeve to her wrists with mine going no longer than half way to my elbow. Hers was  past her mid calf while mine was just above my knees. As I stare into her green eyes perfectly matching her dress I take a deep breath and say in my most feminine voice "Lets take a few shots as possible Daddy is trying to get us to cut costs on photo shoots."

Little known fact is my Dad actually manages the business side a bit. He is technically the owner. But he takes a $40 an hour paycheck and we leave it at that. He manages expenses and gives us advice but we make the decisions and run the business.

We walk into the studio decked out in our glamorous outfits and getting ready to start. I can hear the studio worker talking in the background

"This is gonna take at least two weeks to edit and that's if we keep the video under five minutes this is gonna be expensive for you guys we  could just do a normal photo shoot it would be a lot cheaper" A stage hand says

"That wouldn't serve our purposes for this shoot unfortunately. We need the video but good news is it's only a three minute video so it should be out within a week and a half. Which will somewhat cut the costs."Wally, our website and stage manager reasons

"Whatever you say videos are risky for you guys you are barely off the ground at this point if this video generates less than $500 revenue, instead of the $250 of photo shoots, you will be in the red" We all know this but it's darn hard to question his reasoning this is expensive and risky. He says $500 to not be in the red but it's more like $900 we have to sell if we include outfits for the shoot and costs of making the merchandise and paying our employees.

"Let's get started the longer we work the more it costs." Wally gets to the point.

Ten minutes later they finish setting up the cameras and we are in position.

It starts with a combination of runway modeling and lyrical dancing to nutcracker music. Lots of swaying back and forth while showing off the clothes. Spins and throwing our arms in ballet like positions in the air.  We end the first part with three consecutive pirouettes in a lyrical sense of the movement which makes it look a little rough around the edges the look we were going for.

Suddenly the music changes. We stand  straight and look to the side together right, left middle feigning confusion. Before large smiles go on our faces and we grab the top of our hair and the side of our dresses and spin pulling both off revealing that underneath are Ren and Nal?!?!

Not stopping ignoring the fact that at this point the audience world be confused we dance to the jazz music combing male and female movement while never quite distinguishing which of the two we are. We move in such a way that you can't tell much about our gender only that we have style and flare you can see much of our personality in our movement. We are dancing the same moves and wearing the loose brightly colored dress shirt with shorts too short for a man and too long for a woman. Our hair could be a sort women's cut or long men's cut but no one can tell. Our ties could be for a women's dress suit or a men's work outfit but  no way to tell. People make their own decisions on whether Ren and Nal are Male or Female and we never confirm or deny any of the suggestions. We are dancing the same moves but with our own flare you can distinguish which one of us is who just by our movements.

I'm clearly Ren I have my sass and courage that makes me different from Nal who has always had a hint of shyness in their work never quite gaining the experience to feel comfortable in their own skin despite how amazing and beautiful they are. We dance Jazz until the music shifts again. This time to a light rock song. We stop not looking confused this time simply smirking as we remove the second layer of clothing we are wearing to reveal Rob and Neil. At this point the viewers should have figured it out so we continue our dance unhindered by anything.

The confident and heart thief Rob with the sweet but shy Neil dancing a energetic tap combined with rock concert performance. We thrive of our followers love and need them to see us as confident people who love our own looks.

The tight tee shirts with custom designs we made ourselves with the slightly longer than before basketball shorts that were rolled up under the last outfit. we pick up out props baseball bats and we use them as canes and feign hitting a ball before we end the dance  sweat dripping down our faces and realizing that it was only the first take and we had up to fifty more today.

Just than the stage director shouted "Okay that's a wrap." What since when did one take do it? We go over to question him. "Why did you only do one take" Nal asks baffled by his choice.

"Well you got it perfect the first time we aren't gonna improve on that take so we are gonna keep that one get back into your normal clothes eat some food and go home. We will take it from here. You can wait a week and a half to bet it back at the very most in the mean time I'd get your next shoot ready we need to keep up with those. The clothes sold fro those are the bread and butter of your business after all"

"Are you sure of sending this out it could cause your site a bit of trouble?"

"It's time for a reveal, we want to be able to do fashion shows  at some point."

"If your sure. It's risky though you got a good gig at this point this changes everything."

We finish exchanging pleasantries before changing and heading out.
