Second last chapter :(. But it's a bigger chapter which I'm happy about and I felt good about this chapter cause it's cute.

Matty sat in silence for days, waiting and waiting for George to come home. When he left that morning, he never came home. It was almost like he was seriously done with Matty.

He didn't want to let George down again but, let's be real, pretty much everything Matty does let's George down. It was the sad reality.

Matty occasionally left the house, he'd do the rounds to all of George's friends houses, going to Jesse's and getting told that George hasn't been in contact with him, going to bars and his mothers house.

Visiting his old girlfriend, he disappeared off the face of the earth.

Jesse sat with Matty sometimes and tried calling George, he never answered, but he'd send messages and he'd read them, so he wasn't dead. He read Jesse's messages but not Matty, he was really ignoring him.

Right now, Matty was just sat in the car his mum brought him. He was parked outside a hotel that he hadn't went to yet, it was about thirty to forty minutes out of Manchester.

He took a deep breath and got out of the car, and walking up to the reception. He walks in and looked at the well dressed man behind the counter.

"Hi, how can I help you?" He asks. "Is there anyone by the name George staying here?" Matty asks. He hops onto a computer and looks through it.

"Last name, Daniel?" He asks and looks up. Matty now.. He smiles and looks at the computer once more before looking back at him. "Room, 62, which is on the backside on level two. So just walk around on the right side and they'll be a staircase." He says and Matty walks out.

Matty takes a deep breath and walk towards the large building, it was just one of those small inn places, kinda like the average American ghetto inn.

He finds the stairs and walks up them, looking around at the night sky, the stars perfectly and also boringly in the same place.

He had wished the stars weren't always in the same place, it bored him looking out his window every night to see the same stars.

He reaches room '62', his breaths become thick with nervousness. It had been a little over a week and a half since they had last talked and they didn't exactly leave on good terms.

He closes his eyes for a moment before knocking. He opens his eyes and looks down at the worn out docs on his feet, the same ones George brought him.

The door opens and Matty looks up, meeting eyes with George. "Matty." George breathes out and gives Matty a weird look. "Why are you here?" He asks.

"George, I came here to apologise, I've been horrible. I've been doing things I regret and I've lost you over it and and I can't live with myself." Matty starts.

"I shouldn't have denied that I took something horrible that night, I just needed it, I wanted to feel something cause I've been emotionless, I haven't felt happy, sad, angry, anything."

"I've been numb to the emotions within me and I thought a few drugs would bring me back to reality but if it means that reality doesn't involve you, than fuck, I'd rather be emotionless than not have you in my life." He stops for moment to wipe away his own tears.

He kept eye contact with George the whole time, trying to make it as sincere as possible. George just stared him down, being even more emotionless than Matty.

"And to clear up everything with who I got them from, it was through Adam Hann. Van obviously knew him and as he is everyone else's dealer in Manchester, he was Van's too."

"I stole god knows how much of whatever I could get my hands on from Van's place and stash them in a bag the night I had the overdose."

"I knew that something in me wasn't going to be the same again after all of the drama cooled down so I needed something to get me through it and yeah." Matty's explaining turned into nonsense rambling.

"Are you done?" George asked, looking half arse like the goofy fucker he was. Matty nodded, but then shook his head. "I'm sorry, and I'm in love with you and I never want to lose you over drugs and I really wish you'd forgive me for being such a bell end. Done." Matty said and smiled small.

George looked around and looked at Matty. "I'm supposed to be an upright person you know, but for some ridiculous reason, you make me a big softie." George says and smiles.

"Come in here, you prick." He adds and pulls Matty into the room. "Oh and George, stop for a second." Matty speaks up and George stops and looks down at Matty.

"I really fucking promise I'm done with the drugs, I'm done with being a gronk of a person and a fuck arse of a boyfriend." Matty says seriously and slams his foot down. "I'm putting my pink coloured toes that are on my feet down." He says and smiles.

"Oh come here." George says and leans down to Matty's height, sharing a needed kiss with Matty. Cause the truth was, George was never going to leave Matty, he couldn't.

And he definitely couldn't now cause the object that was sitting in George's pocket had the happy future and the change he always wanted, and he wanted to spend that with Matty.
