Mama held Rose in her arms tightly, even if Rose was terrified. Opal broke the silence "Were are we going now " . I thought about that and realized that we were now homeless. I replied "I don't know but we should get comfortable . I'll keep watch for humans " Opal agreed and so did mama . Before sundown I hopped in Wade Creek to bathe. There was something with the water that made me feel magical. The water was so clear and clean . Then I realized Opal and mama made it to Wade Creek by foot all in one piece . It was now dark outside and everyone was asleep while I was on watch . I made a small fire to keep warm. Out of nowhere I heard a stick snap , I turned around and saw my old friend Arlo . He had left two years ago to avenge his father . I immediately stood up and jump into his arms ,he held me tight and kissed my cheek. I blushed and he asked " Why are you guys here " I replied "Humans came and destroyed the town " He looked down . He let go and sat on a rock he closed his eyes and went to bed .
