As soon as it was possible, Natasha called Fury. He seemed particularly pleased to know Tony's actions were not in vain, and sent a recovery jet. Natasha also mentioned Bill, which struck Fury with curiosity. The ride back to S.H.I.E.L.D's headquarters was fairly silent. Bill had put up no resistance when he was restrained, and chose to act like only gravity kept him intact. Loki could tell that Bill was irked by his new form. Of course, Loki would not pay any attention to that detail, since it was easier to handle him this way.
The first thing Loki did was escort Bill (along with a generous amount of guards) to the containment ward. Bill was placed in the glass cage on Fury's order, making all questioning a tad easier. Fury was definitely intrigued by Bill, and immediately wanted a report on his desk.
Bill behaved himself during his time in captivity, abliet he was prone to annoying the guards that were placed in and around his sector. Eventually, Fury would want direct answers from the demon, and apparently he had the perfect candidate to go in and get them. Loki paced himself, not in any hurry to reach his destination. If Fury wanted answers he's going to get them, but it didn't mean whoever he sent really had consent to acting upon his request. Loki entered Bill's temporary living quarters, and he joked to himself that it was funny to call the cage that. He'd had his fair share of time in that space, and he didn't like it.
Bill however was adaptable. He found ways to suit himself with the scarce amount of supply. The demon found lying upside down and partially hanging off the cot quite comfortable. He said he thought the feeling of blood rushing to his head was satsfying. Thus, Loki found Bill in this exact position, wearing a t-shirt and sweatpants provided by S.H.I.E.L.D, smiling as though there was not a problem in the world. The demon pretended to not notice Loki at first, but the feeling of being watched was annoying to him.
"What do you want? Can't you see I'm trying to relax here?" Bill slowly cracked open an eye.
Loki had never become so irritable so quickly.
"Well, stop lounging around. You have questions that need answers, and I don't want to be in here all day."
Bill pouted slightly, only for a smirk to appear on his features.
"So mean~ Now that you've mentioned you dont want to waste time here, I'm going to be super difficult to deal with." The demon scrunched his nose playfully, and sat up. "Just because I don't really like you."
Loki pinched the bridge of his nose, silently cursing himself for mentioning his intentions.
"Why did you come to Earth?"
Bill looked up at the ceiling thoughtfully, "I wanted a new world to play with. This one seemed ripe for the taking, and humans were slightly interesting despite their primitive ways."
"Where did you come from?"
"A place that doesn't exist anymore."
"What were your plans for the world if we had not succeeded?"
"I'd decimate the human race, and then maybe blow up half the moon, because everything would be lame after all the burning's over."
"Anything else you'd like to share?" Loki asked frustratedly. How could anyone answer these things so shamelessly?
"Mm, yeah," Bill's gaze pierced through Loki's emerald irises. "Why are you protecting them now?"
Loki struggled to comprehend what the demon meant. His brow furrowed in slight confusion and thought.
"You tried to destroy them once, right? So why now do you protect them? Why do you show them such kindness as to keep them safe from what may strike? What a closet-case you must be..." Bill had strode up to the glass, now facing Loki directly. Loki could now see how Bill's dual colored eyes calculated him like a machine. The slit pupil hidden behind his right golden eye was full of distaste.
"Why are you so hellbent on destroying them?" Loki managed to retort.
Bill shrugged. The action caused some of his hair to fall over his face, leaving only his blue-left eye uncovered. He ran a hand through his bangs, angrily tucking them behind his ear. His hair looked like the setting sun, and it was interesting to see how these details were put into his mortal form.
"Y'know," Bill started. "Your memories are pretty interesting."
The remark hit Loki like a rock; he didn't even notice the invasion inside his mind.
"A prince of another dimension, but yet, not really."
Loki clenched his fists, knowing where the demon was going, but he didn't have the strength to stop him.
"Abandoned your own family just to prove a point. You wanted to show them you were just as good as your brother. But you and I both know you never will be, right?"
A silent growl built up at the back of Loki's throat. The god could've ripped the demon's head off easily at this point.
"You could never love yourself. What you really are is something you're ashamed of. Is that why you went to Thanos?" Bill retreated from the god's mind painfully and innocently with a sickening grin.
Loki needed to calm down. He tried counting to ten, he really did, but all that clouded his mind was the image of Bill, no, this demon, bloodied and dead where he sat. Bill saw this in Loki's eyes and wanted to bring it out more, he wanted to torture this man. Torture him enough to virtually kill him off, all because the idea sounded fun. Turning off the communicator inside the glass cage, Loki spoke to Fury through his earpiece.
"Let me do what we originally planned."
Loki couldn't recall if Fury gave him the answer he needed to hear. He opened the door to the cage, and used his magic to keep Bill's form in place. Conjuring up a knife, Loki entered the claustrophobic space he despised. Bill's gaze fell to the glint of the knife, and smiled oh so wickedly.

"What, you going to kill me now or something? Go ahead, do your worst. See if I care." The demon's left eye glowed red, as though he was prompting Loki to go on.

The knife cut into his flesh easily, but it burned and left inky marks. Bill couldn't help himself from wincing, but it all felt so hilarious. The blade slid down his shoulders, not quite deep enough, and was methodically cutting. It dawned on Bill what Loki was doing.
"Hey, wait. No, no, that's not fair!" The demon panicked to choose his words, feeling it depended on his existence.
Loki was carving runes, runes meant to seal away all traces of magic in the host, only to be unleashed by the one who put them there.
"You can't, I'll break them. I'll break these stupid barriers and I'll make you burn! I destroy you, I-I'll..."
Bill felt his grasp on consciousness slip. His body registered that it hurt; it sunk all the way to his very core. He wanted to die. He loved his magic, it was something he didn't want to go without. He'd never wanted to fizzle out and disappear this much until now.
Ten minutes later, Loki wiped his hands clean of all the red he inevitably collected on his skin. Bill laid on the bloodstained floor of the containment chamber, now fully unconscious, powerless and seething with a growing rage.

Woah, now three chappies in one day was uncalled for. I'm kidding. Sorry about that ending tbh. I didnt wanna go too far into detail but idk, shit got out of hand. Also if u want a description of what Bill looks like bc honestly I didnt detail him that much either, like stated earlier in the chapter, his eyes are different colors: right eye is gold, left is stark blue. His hair is literally just like Loki (read:me) thought, its similar to the sunset, yknow light yellow, slightly pink, maybe a bit of light orange if u squint. His skin is fair and tanned, and hes 5 foot 3 in or 160 cm. (Olly shit oly shit lyy shit hes so fucking smol in comparison to Loki hahahahahahahahh) thats about all for his description I think. Anyway I hope you enjoyed this chapter even tho the end was ahem unsettling for me a bit. See ya next time.
